Good movie.
I'm infatuated with Aubrey Plaza. That certainly helped the movie along.

Just watched this one. Very enjoyable film through and through. I am not one to usually like endings like this one has, but for some reason I really loved it. It really fit well with the rest of the movie, even though it was a surprise. Strong performances all around. I'm not familiar with most of the people in this, but they really did a great job of making the characters believable. It could've been a movie full of one sided characters, but thanks to the strong writing and acting it was not.
On a side note, I have a moderate case of facial blindness, which always makes movie watching adventurous for me. I usually misrecognize or can't quite place actors until after the movie when I look them up. This one was funny, because I spent the whole movie thinking Mark Duplass was John Krasinski and wondering why he looked a little chubby. And I watch The League. Last week I watched a movie with Reese Witherspoon and had no clue it was her until after.

You should watch Drinking Buddies. Jake Johnson rocks in that one and assuming you liked him in SNG.

I'll check it out. He was great in this, very funny and natural. He pulled off a good balance of being funny and also pathetic at the same time. I sort of got a Mark Ruffalo vibe, but with my problem with recognizing faces, I could be way off.

It's called prosopagnosia, and that is not even close to the worst I've had. I once failed to recognize Kevin Bacon (Kevin Bacon!)...twice. In the same movie. Seriously.
Cloud Atlas was a freaking nightmare for me. So are any type of social or work event where there are a lot of people 'out of context'...
The upside is that watching movies is truly an adventure. Out of habit I go google any movie I watch after I'm done, and it is quite fun having a bunch of "oooooooh, that's who that was" moments.

Thanks for the suggestion, I put it on my "Sunday morning watch" list!
For some reason I can't sleep in anymore, so I've been watching a couple of movies every Sunday morning for the past few months. It's really helped me catch up on quite a few gems that I've missed. SNG was another great one and I'm looking forward to Drinking Buddies next week!

Yeah, Drinking Buddies is awesome and if you like craft beer you'll want to partake while you watch it. It was also largely improvised. I think it's streaming on Netflix now. I have the BD.

I watched it on Netflix in the US over a year ago. No idea if it's still up.

Just watched this tonight on Vudu, and loved it. I loved the story, the characters and the execution of it all. I have been seeing the movie here and there for a while, just didn't read about the plot until recently.
