Hey, it's not our fault that the lazy producers of this set chose NOT to combine all the bonus DVDs onto one or two blu-ray discs. Then this would have been a 7 or 8 disc set at which point $30 sounds pretty good.

Same here. I'm still pleased with the image/audio quality of the SD LOTR:EE sets, so I can wait. Currently it's sitting in my Amazon Wish List so I can periodically monitor for a price drop.

Well Imo now that it has been released, let's drop the "gonna buy/not gonna buy" post and let's hear from folks who bought it and give us their impression of the PQ and AQ of this!
