Borders 50% off coupon (in-store and online)
The coupon is 50% off the list price. It does not stack with the current sale price. I believe the online code is only good once per account, but I'm not positive.
Coupon code - BLUFIFTY
In-store coupon
Valid 6/28/11 through 6/30/11
edit: Looks like it's only select titles online. Link

Are these Blu-ray prices or the upcoming 4K Format prices.
FYI: Limit is 2 movies per order. And your order has to be $40 or more for free shipping. Eh.

Stardust for $6.50 is a damn_fine deal, especially if gone through a rebate site. If i didn't already have the UK edition, i'd be all over this.

Wow, those prices are ridiculous. Some of the prices would be okay after the 50% coupon, but nothing you couldn't get elsewhere for around the same price without a coupon.

As for the LotR EE blus, I called my local store which said it hadn't received its shipment yet. They did say it'd have a list price of $119.xx and is on sale for $100. So we should be able to get it for $60 - not bad!

Just to confirm, the coupon is good on any in stock blu-ray in store at 50% off list price. Only select blu-rays on line. Coupon limited to 2 blu rays. You also need a borders reward card. Has anyone tried it in store yet? Do multiple disc sets count as one selection?
I guess I will find out for myself. The Borders near my office has the extended editions of LOTR in stock so I will go during lunch and see what happens. As previously noted their sale price is about $100. Full price $120. Its currently $70 at Amazon so not an extraordinary bargain. I am sure it will be $50 or less by Black Friday. However as I have gift certificates for Borders and who knows how long they will stay in business, I will use them for this.
Thanks
Update: I did get LOTR Extended for $60. Criterion's Great Dictator in blu for $20 was my second selection. Used up my gift certificates on this purchase. Again I probably would have waited for LOTR if I didn't want to use my certificates as I believe price will drop significantly later this year. Thanks OP for the link to the in store coupon . I am a happy camper.

Re: Borders 50% off coupon (in-store and online)
I do have a Borders membership but honestly haven't found use for it before. There are a couple of good deals that could be had with this, so...I have a question.
I have two Borders within reasonable driving distance (not around the block for either one though), so I'd rather not go there and find out the titles I'd want to get aren't available. If I reserve a couple of titles online for pickup at the store, will this prohibit me from the use of the coupon (i.e., would reserving the titles count as a "previous purchase," which they say the coupon can't be used for)?
It seems to me that it shouldn't be deemed as such, but like I said I have no real experience with these coupons.
Thanks!

Well, I scored. I found a Blu-ray copy of Watchmen Ultimate Cut for $30 after coupon. That puppy's turning right around and going up on eBay.
There were several LOTR EE sets that were $60 after coupon. The only other bargain I saw was the Matrix Ultimate Collection for $32.50 after coupon, in case you missed it for $30 at Best Buy the other week.

Thanks. For $60, I upgraded LOTR EE. Reluctantly.
