Guilty pleasure.
I wouldn't expect my wife or friends to like it, and the repetitive score and vague plot moments kind of bugged me, but the rest is awesome.

I watched this when if first hit DVD and didn't care for it, but I'm about to the point where I think I need to revisit it. I love the opening scene:

Terrible movie, but I own it simply because a good portion was filmed at my office building.

Pretty good little movie. A good first effort from the director. Nothing that I'd necessarily revisit.

I guess that the characters were probably created to be young and foolish. But I can't help but imagine the movie with one mature voice and one young voice - or something like that - would have made it much more credible.

That was the first time I'd seen Sarah Silverman and had no idea who she was (back in 2000). All I know is her character got exactly what she deserved!

I like it and own the DVD. The motel gunfight is awesome, and James Caan's character is great--really ruthless.

It was alright for the most part. I haven't seen it since it first came to video but from what I remember of the movie, the ending just fell apart.

The beginning is one of the best openings to a movie ever!

No. But a guy I went to high school with plays one of the paramedics in that scene.

Very good movie - nice, low key and nasty - although some of the plot points might be a bit much to take, the fact that the violence is played reasonably straight and realistic does it for me - plus the overt reference to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid makes me laugh every time - and Sarah Silverman has a dirty whore mouth. I've always thought of it as a QT movie that he might have made following Reservoir Dogs before the ton of cultural references and the "I've seen every movie ever made and I'll prove it" tendancies turned up in his work.

Love it. Gritty action, highly under rated.

I enjoyed it. I still can't believe it gets so bashed. Benicio and Caan were fantastic.

I don't remember much about this film, other than the opening scene and that I liked it.
