DVD Talk Reviewer
Any word on extras for this yet? It's only two weeks away and I'm debating doing a blind buy. If it's barebones, I'll definitely pass.
-------
No extras on this based on reviews from several sites. I may contradict my earlier statement and buy, b/c the extras on Clint's dvds are not very good anyway, and I wouldn't say 100% there will be a double dip.

I can't find a damn thing about this. I suppose Clint didn't have time for any features on the disc. I'm hoping for at least the trailer. I'm sure Warners will give us a loaded disc for Letters from Iwo Jima.

Wow. Not even the trailer?
That's bizzarre, to say the least.
I'll buy it as I thought it was a great film (NOWHERE near as astonishing as Letters) and sell it when the ultimate Iwo Jima set is released.

no special features=not interested..
i for one am getting pissed off at the lack of special features on these high profile major studio releases...
(The Prestige, Casino Royale, V for Vendetta, The Departed, Little Children, Flags...etc.)
What is the deal with this trend???

Not surprised at the lack of special features, still I'm excited to rent this.
No chapter selection also. Is Clint Eastwood taking the David Lynch route?
