It's in my queue and all of the posts that I have read on social media say it sucks.

It is the most collaborative, creatively fulfilling, and beautiful thing I have ever been a part of.

On that news, I'm most likely tapping out. Not worth the effort to watch and I'm betting it ends on a cliffhanger that won't resolve now.

I've tried a few graphic novels and just can't seem to get into them.
It's been a few years since I tried one but I wasn't into comic books as a kid. As an adult, I can't even finish reading the longer memes that are multi-panel (probably due to smaller fonts.) I'm a voracious reader and constantly have at least one novel going at night before bedtime so its not that I don't like reading.

That's pretty lame this is already getting canned. The show is perfect but I'm sure it has some fans out there.

Funky, I think you meant to say the show is far from perfect.
I think I was about to get into episode 4 as I had been enjoying the show up to this point. The one thing that made me very nervous is bringing in the woman who was found alive in Israel and turning her into a Trump like figure that would dominate the show and be that villain type person that everyone was powerless against and could almost get away with murder in broad daylight. That is a massive divergence from the source material, as there was no way I would have finished up reading all 60 issues of Y The Last Man in TPB format if that was what we got in the comic. The comic was for the most part a joy to read. I remember getting into it when the back issues were blowing up in price so I just went the TPB route as DC was great about collecting things like Y in a TPB format all the way to the end of the series.
It is still a bummer that this show had so much of a drawn out process to finally get on the air that FX decided to just let it go. I have a feeling that HBO Max will probably pass, but we will probably know soon enough.

Too bad it got cut. I was enjoying it, but I see where many would be bored by it. Maybe HBOMax can grab it one day. Honestly, HBOMax should pretty much take in all their DC/Former Vertigo now Black Label stuff anyway...

Shout out to Missi Pyle as "Roxanne". She is always a great comedy actress but she is killin' it here as this scary leader..

Finished it just because I've read the comic and know where THAT story went. Was curious how it would play out here. All this time to finally do this show and then cancelled in the middle of the season. I'll likely not give it much thought in about a day. Like I said before, a decade ago or so ago would have worked much better this type of concept was overdone throughout the last decade.

I'm wondering if this will find an angel rescue. Stephen King was just singing the praises of this show. No idea how viewership is, but if it comes back I feel it needs a retooling to make it work better.

I thought the last couple of episodes were pretty good. At least we got closure on Roxanne. I liked the dream sequence with Tamblyn's character.
If this gets picked up by another streamer that I already subscribe to, I'd continue watching.

I had no idea of the cancellation when I started watching this last week. Stupid Hulu and their once-a-week releasing. And the whole F/X on Hulu is beyond stupid - so we have F/X, FXX, and F/X on Hulu.
The show was ridiculously contrived, but weirdly entertaining to watch.
