With today's announcement of Sega GT 2, Jet Grind 2, and a new Panzer Dragoon game (among others), my view of X-Box - and specifically whether or not I'll buy one - has dramatically changed. And there's DOA 3 in there somewhere, too. So I guess now I'm kind of excited for it, even though I had no plans to get one before. It's amazing how a few games can completely change your opinion on a machine.
Now all we need to know is if 2-D is going to live on through the X-Box as well. If we get some 2-D Capcom titles, and some arcade sticks, we'll pretty much have a Dreamcast 2, I guess. At least Sega is going to live on in one way or another.

I now have a lot more interest in the console. Silent Hill 2 is another game I'm looking forward to for Xbox. Maybe Sega's anouncement will bring more of the Japanese developers off the fence and get them fully behind Xbox. Things are definitely looking up. As long as the price is the same as a PS2 I will probably get one.

These Sega titles go a long way to strengthen Xbox's line up. Because of these games I give Xbox a much larger chance of suceeding.
However, you alo have to remember these games will probally appear on PS2 and Gamecube as well, now that Sega is cross platform, they will be trying to make as much as possible, as quick as possible.
In other words, these titles may not be exclusive just to xbox. But who knows, mabe MS is paying extra cash to have sega pump these titles out only for them, (ie the Sony &Squaresoft deal)
I read the artical about the annoucment too, and it said that Sega is exspected to annouce their Gamecube plans soon, so we will get a better idea if these games will be exclusive or not.

Sega hasn't confirmed that they are exclusives (though the Smilebit ones may be), but they have said they would premiere on X-Box first.
Personally, I'll be happy to see a console that doesn't depend on the tastes of Japanese gamers to succeed. I think the DC would still be going today if it weren't for its utter failure in Japan (which is traditionally a one-console market).
As long as X-Box has the games from the major Jpnese developers (Konami, Sega, Capcom, Namco, etc), I think the X-Box will provide a great experience. USA & Europe have the userbase to support a system and waaaayy more talented developers than some gamers give them credit for.

As of right now I don't think they are exclusives. It wouldn't be good buisness sense to have 11 exclusive titles on a system that hasn't even hit the shelves, more or less got a significant market share.
Sega is in no position be "loyal" to only one system right now, exspecially since the amrket is going to be crazy this fall assuming that all the consoles make it in.
Unless a company is owned by the parent company (ie Rare:Nintendo) and recieving some money to sit tight I think you are going to see alot of cross platforming until there is a clear market leader.

My view on X Box has always been 100% positive and still is. I was going to buy one at launch and still will as long as the price is right. After the fiasco with the PS2 I think Microsoft has learned a lot. I have a lot of confidence in them and in the X Box. With Sega on board now, Microsoft will be in an even stronger position. I'm looking forward to going to E3 and hope it's a very positive event for Microsoft as well as Nintendo, Sony and Sega.

E3
Sony will try to make some noise at E3 with MGS2 and GT3 and such, however I think the greastist part, for me anyway will to finally learn what Nintendo has got. MS will also be going full steam too. However since alot is already known about Xbox, I think the most attention will goto Nintendo, assuming its worth looking at.
This year is going to be truly awesome. Can't wait.
