I've been looking to buy a couple games for awhile now and stumbled across this site :

http://www.classicgaming.com/locations/

Basically it lists classic games in your area. Great resource if you are fiending to play an old school game in the original cabinet and not on MAME

No listing for New York? I'd think there has to be one retro-cade somewhere in this whole blasted state!

It's a great place. Probably 3x as many newer games too. As far as I know, it's the biggest arcade in the state. Make the trip. Plenty more to do in Ann Arbor while you are there.

Can't believe more people aren't on this, oh well, nothing like playing 720 or Tron as it should be played

Cool link

My best friend's grandfather runs a kick a$$ arcade and wanted to see if it was listed. It was and I never knew what great games he still had there.

State College, PA

Playland

10-Yard Fight, All American Football, Arkanoid, Arkanoid - Revenge Of Doh, Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Galaga '88, Hat Trick, Millipede, Mr. Do!, Ms. Pac-Man, Punch-Out!!, Ring King, Strike Zone Baseball, Tetris, Track & Field, Trog

We used to get the keys and unload the machines for him and then we'd get to play for free all day.

Sad note... Pinball Pete's got rid of most of their classics. I went there over the weekend to play and didn't see any of them. I asked the guy working there and he said they sold them.

Sad, sad day.

NYC has "LazerPark" in Times Square.

The website has the full list of games. They've got a lot of good stuff like Tron, Punch-out!!, Donkey Kong Jr., Spy Hunter and Mr Do!.

There are actually several if you just use the left nav bar to locate games by state and click on New York. In fact, I may stop by Lazer Park on my way home from work.

I've also been to Broadway Arcade (243 W 42nd St), and unfortunatley they don't really run a good establishment.

Is there a site that will show you where arcades are in general (not exclusively old-school)?
