Been playin' Conker's Bad Fur Day (funniest game I've ever played, and I'm not even a huge fan of potty humor) and I've got a question for y'all: What is the point of extra lives/tails? If you die and continue, is there ever any difference in where you start than if you'd had another life? In my experience, if you die with zero lives and continue from the save, you lose nothing you don't always lose when dying.

Just got to the Saving Private Ryan scene, BTW, and I laughed my ass off. They even got the sound perfect, although that's not really surprising; from what I've heard so far, Rare has God's own sound engineers on the payroll.

No difference, since each task is broken into chapters and the game automatically saves after each completed task/chapter. However, if you got a game over in the middle of a task then you'd have to redo the whole task when you continue.

yeah. Rare made the game a little too easy by making lives meaningless. I wish there were a little more challenge in this game.

I think the challange is just right. Not too easy, not too hard.

If there were no lives we'd never have "Greg" the Grim Reaper.

Wait until you get to the "Matrix" level. It's the coolest thing I've seen in a video game in a long time - and I've seem them all.

Don't think this game is too easy by a long shot. Just trying to swim through the spinning blades took me forever. I like the fact that once you make it through a section you don't have to go back again. BTW the Matrix level is by far the best in the game.
