Im thinking of buying one of these two this weekend. I know ive heard some bad reviews on The Bouncer but u gotta admit it looks pretty sweet. Well i need a fun game, one with replay value, so which do you suggest? SSX ive heard is great. The Bouncer looks sweet!

ssx, by far. it offers much more gameplay and lengthy play time. the bouncer is short as hell.

I think the bouncer will be a great game to get for $20. However, its way to short to pay $50 for.

Have not played the Bouncer, but own SSX. Based upon the bad reviews Bouncer has recieved and the greatness of SSX, I would pick up SSX without a doubt.

Just wanted to tack my vote onto SSX. I can play this game just about every day and not get sick of it.

Oh, c'mon. This post has to be a joke. Let's see: one game has gotten universally stellar reviews, and is considered by the majority of the gaming public to be the game to get on PS2. The other is one of the most reviled releases in recent memory, casting a bleak shadow on an otherwise nearly unblemished record of a fine gaming company.

Yes, this question isn't very hard at all. SSX is a longer game and even though I HATE snowboarding, I absolutely fell in love with SSX. As I've said in other posts, the only reason to get the Bouncer is to show off the graphics. The gameplay and length of the game leave a lot to be desired.

As for the Bouncer being the only blemish with Squaresoft, there actually is another game they put out for the PS2 that sucks as much, if not more, than the Bouncer. That game would be Driving Emotion S. Squaresoft must right the ship, they are still one of my favorite companies but they need to rely on what they know.

Have to agree. SSX all the way. I have not played The Bouncer but I do own SSX, and judging by the feed back on The Bouncer there is no contest.

If you hate snowboarding games : SSX
If you love any sort of games : SSX
If you have any sense : SSX
If you don't want to spend eternity kicking yourself : SSX
If someone held a gun to your head and said he would kill you if you didn't buy The Bouncer : The Bouncer (but don't open it, keep the receipt, and then return it later and get SSX instead).
