Has anyone noticed that EGM really, truly needs an art director?

Could EGM be the most graphically boring videogame magazine on the stands? I'm only waiting for my subscription to run out and then I'll probably never pick this magazine up again. The covers are simply a mish-mash of colored text and the internal articles are all black and white columns with scattered postage-stamp sized screenshots of reviewed games.
Plus, it might help if the magazine didn't read like a frat-house newsletter.

Honestly, I've never noticed the cover thing .... I guess you're right, they aren't the greatest covers in the world. Although, they aren't that bad.
About the stamp sized review pics, that's because they've already done an in-depth preview for many of the games they review. There's no need to waste space inserting pics again. Also, they tend to put in a whole page review if the review is for a highly-anticipated game.
I read EGM because of the gaming info, it's the best around in my opinion. If the art is less than stellar, but the gaming info remains excellent, then I will continue to read it.
