I am old school...
6 years old...
get atari 2600 for christmas...
play pacman for what seems like 3 weeks straight...
found out what "pacman-wrist" was...
tell my little brother that contollers used to have a real joystick and ONE button and have him look at me like I just rambled off the theory of relativity...
go to friends house to play ladybug and zaxxon on colecovision...
Spending all my allowance at the 7-11 playing Star Wars
Thinking pitfall had amazing graphics...
Seeing space invaders on atari 7800 and thinking, "man..video games don't get better than this"...
those were the days...

Old School here as well. I remember blowing all of my paper route money playing Dragon's Lair. I got my 2600 (6 switcher) from K-mart for $126.00 plus tax and played Space Invaders so much my eyes got stuck in invader-tracking-mode. I had trouble reading for a while afterwards. I have the first 13 issues of Electronic Games magazine. I play Sinistar and Discs of Tron on my PC using MAME32. Sunday morning, after sex and coffee, my ex-girlfriend (it's a long story) and I played Frogger and Centipede on my recent Ebay purchase, a shiny 2600 4-switcher with like-new Wico controllers.

Had an pong unit i played when i was real young.... then the atari 2600. Man, i even got a high enough score on Megamania to take a picture of my screen and send it in and got my name listed in some magazine and they sent me a "Megamaniac" patch, which btw, i still have floating around somewhere. Ah, those were the days, playing that and Combat till my eyes were all red and sore.

Am I the only one who's parents bought a Commadore Vic-20
It was mainly text based games but the one game I loved was....Tooth Invaders, you were a little spaceman with a toothbrush and the object of the game was to rid all the teeth of scum before the Plaque monster got you.
I loved that game

My whole family is old scool. We had the Atari 2600. My whole family (grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins) had a running competition on River Raid. I think I made the #2 spot once, then lost it to my Grandma.
I still have my NES, in my parents' shed, but occaisionally I pull it out and get in a few games of Tetris or Metroid. I sold my SNES though.

Old school yes. Loved the 2600. Ahh the memories..
Raiders of the Lost Ark 2 joystick action
Secret room in Adventure
Easter egg in Missle Command
Finishing Pit Fall
Crazy Climber fun
Asteroids and Yars Revenge
Combat: Still one of the best 2 player games around
I had an Atari 800 too. Woohoo. My buddy had Commodore stuff. Radar Rat Race on the Vic-20 was a blast.
