Since it's inevitable that there will be system wars in this forum eventually, let's hear where everyone stands right now ~ what system or systems are you currently playing, and which games for them?

Right now I'm loving my Dreamcast and I just broke down and bought a Playstation 2 last week. That officially makes the 12th system I've owned in 22 years of gaming (not counting import versions of some). I'm hooked haha! I'm currently playing Grandia 2 and Fighting Vipers 2 on DC and Ridge Racer V and Tekken Tag on PS2. Videogames rule!

By the way....anyone want to trade me another PS2 game for DOA2? The game just isn't my style...

PS2 and once in a while N64, still haven't beaten Majoras mask. I plan on selling it once I've beaten that game but now my son is into Paper Mario so I'll have to wait for him. I sure wish they'd put more RPG's on the ps2. So far I have Summoner, Orphen, Fantavision, Ridge Racer, and Eternal ring. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Gran Tourismo 3.

Playstation - Final Fantasy 9 ... you gotta love square.

JUST ORDERED A PS2 yesterday!
No games decided on yet, though. Probably Tekken Tag for one.

Playstation... I don't really have the time for serious gaming anymore. My old PSX is good enough for me and the GF for now. We mostly play sports titles and trivia type stuff anyhoo... (A Resident Evil game for the PS2 might attract my attention though, until then, I'm good as is)

DC and SNES for me. A fair amount of gameboy too. My N64 just collects dust.

PS2 and Dreamcast, Dreamcast is still better right now but in a few months the PS2 will probably blow it away.

You probably haven't owned very many then have you?
I've never seen a system that has such a great library of games for such a short time of being out there. Only the NES rivals it on those grounds. I'll stick with the DC until the Nintendo GameCube comes out.

PC, PS2, Dreamcast, and N64.

Sims: Livin Large, Shenmue, Jet Grind Radio, Paper Mario, Majora's Mask (Zelda).

Will be getting soon:

Dynasty Warriors 2 (played the demo; it's oddly addictive), Black & White (PC).

Anybody else really looking forward to the next entry in the "elder scrolls" series?

so you got rid of a system with great games so you can sit and wait for a decent game with your new system?

I had the dc for over year...got shortly after it came out for $109 (valu america deal maybe.) For me, it was a terrible system. I buy consoles mainly for hockey and the ea nhl2k game was one of the worst I have ever played. Granted, nfl2k and nba2k were solid games. A lot of the other games that were so hyped up really didn't impress me much. for example, everyone seems to love crazy taxi. the game is ok but it gets old really fast and is kind of boring. I must admit that I am very hard to please with videogames. Is the DC a good deal at $100, absolutely...but for me it just wasn't a system I had much love for.

P.S. obviously I am not alone in my thinking as the bottom line is that if it were so great it wouldn't have been discontinued after 2 years.

PS2 — currently playing SW Starfighter, Madden and Tekken TT — and once in a blue moon, I'll play some friends at a game of Unreal on my Mac.

Really looking forward to GT3, Zone of Enders, and later on Silent Hill 2, Devil May Cry and MGS2.
