I only discovered this the other day through a random YT video. I'm interested but a little afraid of scope creep. I played RDR2 for a while but didn't want to do the fishing and stuff. On the other hand, I've hunted for skins and stuff in Far Cry so maybe it just depends on the game and the task.

I forgot all about this game. It does look fun.

Was talking to a friend about this game yesterday. My thought is it's either going to be a 5 or 6 out of 10 or Game of the Year. No in-between. Considering I have it already paid for, I am certainly hoping for this to be 2026's Kingdom Come II for me.

It looks like an Elden Ring retread with a bigger map (which honestly, not the selling point it used to be).

This will 100% depend on how much fun the combat is, and the trailers haven't sold me yet. That said, there seems to be a lot of hype for it, so it should do pretty well initially.

Looks more like an Ass Creed game to me.

There's a review embargo but most reviewers got a 6 hour test with the game. From those comments, this seems closer to RDR2 than an AC game.
