Well, it’s been ten years since I created the other thread and many moons and generations later people’s tastes might have changed or added. So let’s have at it if you please…


1. Resident Evil 4 (GameCube)
2. Halo: Combat Evolved (XBOX One)
3. God of War (2018)
4. Ninja Gaiden II Black (XBSX)
5. Bionic Commando (NES)

1. Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door (GCN)
2. The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap (GBA)
3. Day of the Tentacle (PC)
4. Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4)
5. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Wii/Switch)

Honorable Mention: Super Mario Odyssey (Switch), Arise: A Simple Story (Switch), and Luigi’s Mansion (GCN), Full Throttle (PC), and Strider (NES).

Super Mario Bros. 3 - simply a classic that I’ve replayed so many times throughout the years.

Super Mario 64 - the first 3D Mario game and it’s just such a fun time.

Batman: Arkham Asylum - always have been a big Batman fan and the Arkham series is overall very well done. Something about the mood and atmosphere of the first game I’ve always liked more than the rest.

Those are probably my favorites. If I thought about it more I could come up with a fourth and fifth, but they’re more interchangeable than those three. One
