Blue Prince

I bought this for PC and played it all day on Monday. It's so good. I believe it's available on Game Pass and certain tiers of PlayStation Plus. I highly recommend trying it out.

Huge wow factor in the first few hours. Then it just becomes tedious. There’s a math puzzle that gets harder as the game progresses and it starts to become legit work rather than fun.

I’m ten hours in and not finding it tedious at all. There’s so many secrets to unravel. I do get frustrated when I’m having a good run and get hosed by a bad draw of cards and have to end my day when I”m so close to reaching the end level or run out of stamina,

I played about an hour yesterday. I… like it… but so far it hasn’t really grabbed me. I guess I’m waiting for a good puzzle. I’ve had to end two days pretty early due to inadvertently getting rooms that leave me with no way to get more rooms.

That happens often. It took me over ten hours and one lucky run to make it to the antechamber and I almost ran out of stamina during that run. Make sure you're really looking around and paying attention. There's lots of secrets out there.

Re: Blue Prince

I made it to the end credits tonight after nineteen hours. I absolutely loved it. I had a couple runs with really bad luck, but I got extremely lucky on my last run and made it to the 46th room.

Re: Blue Prince

I made it to the 46th room again today. There's still quite a bit a mysteries and puzzles that I haven't figured out yet, but I'm ready to do something different after 26 hours in the game. If anyone needs any help in the game, feel free to post in this thread and I'll do my best to try to help. RNG is a big part of this game and sometimes you need a really lucky run. Also, the Billiards and Parlor puzzles get harder the more times you get them right. I was having trouble the parlor and billiards puzzles by the end.

Re: Blue Prince

^ I need to jump back in. Took a break to play through Doom 2016, which I just finished last night.
I read that getting to room 46 and rolling credits is “only the beginning” in regards to the mystery of it all, so that kind of tracks with your experience.
