I just finished BL3 because I knew this was coming out. It was fun but I am not sure I am ready to jump back in so fast. Especially when the Gamepass version had all the DLC included. I might just wait for a sale.

It's just crazy that the game comes out in 5 or 6 days and I still have no way of telling if I will get a Steelbook or not. Gearbox never clarified on what 'Select Retailers' means, or if it will be readily available. :mad:

I enjoyed 3 quite a bit. Does everyone hate on it that much?

EDIT: I read the review, I guess not a lot of people liked the humor? I thought it was great. One of the very first ones in the game, Claptrap is telling you he pre-ordered your tombstone just in case :lol:

i loved 3 the most. well, not sure if it counts, but Tiny Tina's was great, but i think 3 was the best.

It was a little over the top with the silly humor. But my issues were more related to the sameness of the third game.

Reviews are hitting. Mostly positive. One of the themes is that the story is pretty straight forward while the side quests are where all the wacky stuff happens.

A lot of the humor was fine. I just hated nearly everything about the two main protagonists. I know there's people who don't like Claptrap and Tina, but I always find them to be hilarious. Tina occasionally has some pretty meaningful dialogue moments.

Claptrap, Tina, and Torgue are always the best parts about the series. I think I am going to wait for a sale on this one. Looking forward to hearing how you guys liked it though.

i played a little this morning. so glad it's back. it kind of has a different feel and i forgot how tedious it is before you can supe up with different guns and such. But this game is special, and I can't wait to take a deeper dive sometime this weekend.

Borderlands is the only PC game I have regularly bought in last almost 20 years. I'm a huge fan. Usually play on hard. This one is harder than usual.

I never got around to BL3 but loved Tiny Tina (DLC was atrocious though). I haven't bought a full priced game in a few years so I figured I'd bite the bullet on this one. I'm out all day tomorrow though so maybe I'll get to fire it up on Sunday.

No steelbook despite it supposedly coming out is bs. A price of 129 bucks for a deluxe edition that is really just DLC.

Yeah, I looked at that edition. What a joke. Overpriced horse armor nonsense. Also after the Tiny Tina DLC, there was no way I'm pre-buying DLC for this.

So far this is decent. Basically if you like BL games, you will like this. I chose the wrong class though. Picked Vex. I like her skill of the companion tiger because it is a damage sponge because I play alone. Unfortunately that is it. Most of her other stuff is just chaining elemental stuff. I feel like I should have taken the mech suit guy.

I was wondering what...Bugs/Glitches....has anyone seen so far. Mainly if they are playing coop and one, not the Host.....gets kicked a lot. That is what's happening to me joining a friend. Solo, I've got no problem. Join her and and in 3hrs I was kicked about 5 times.

A few weeks ago I was having connecting period issues. I wasn't sure where or how so after trying about everything in the book, I eliminated a old Nighthawk Betgear Router and everything seemed fine. Then got it again a week later; not able to connect and got DNS Error. Saw several videos mentioning there were issues with way cable leaned down but mainly changed the DNS settings and from Automatic went with....8.8.8.8 to primary and 8.8.4.4 secondary. That so far has worked and nothing but I feel this is a issue with the Gearbox Servers?...

Enjoying it so far. Siren with tiger for me. I need extra help when soloing, so this works nicely.
I rarely use my Dual Sense Edge controller, but I set up a Borderlands 4 Profile with the Right back button an alternative for ⏹️, allowing for easier reloads while firing, and assigning Left Back button to R3 for easy Melee and grapple (I hate pressing down on thumbsticks). I think that set up is ideal for this game.

Started today and am up to level 10. Doesn't seem like I've done much though. A few missions, a few collectables, a few side missions. Haven't opened up much of the map. I just took down a propaganda tower (defending Claptrap while he hacks it) and that was a bitch solo. Took about 4 tries. I'm playing as Vex (Siren) with the Green power (phoenix wing blast) and she's pretty fun.

I've redeemed the Shift codes above, but the spot to redeem is showing a "Transaction in Progress" message so it won't let me redeem the golden keys. Maybe at a higher level?

The humor is toned way down, especially compared to Tiny Tina's Wonderland. Overall though, it's Borderlands and still fun.

Just a simple and weird one. In the menu when you have a mission selected and it shows the rewards on the right side of the screen...if you hover the cursor over the rewards icons, it gives a pop up telling what the reward is, only the pop ups are all wrong. If I hover over the $ icon the pop up says XP. Hover over a weapon and it shows the $ reward. Odd.

I got the transaction in progress notification too. What I did was quit the game and completely shut it down through the Xbox menu. Restarted the game and went back and it allowed me to go use the golden key.

Biggest glitch I am running into is when I try to highlight anything to mark it as junk, it doesn't work. Often it will add the junk icon to an object 2 or 3 rows above it. Very annoying
