Coming November 19, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the next installment in the Microsoft Flight Simulator franchise. I don't really have an interest in the career aspect.
What I'd really like to see is an improvement in the imagery for cities. When I fly over my city, the basics are there, but getting near the homes, it's obvious how generic they are, and that they don't match the actual ones. |

I tried the 2023 version (or whichever earlier version came before this) on Gamepass and it wasn't until I started playing that I realized you actually have to know how to fly a plane :lol: Like it's technical and stuff. Not for me :lol:

I guess the simulator part kind of went over your head then? They have extensive tutorials. |

And you can dumb it way down. Including just taking over when it's already in the air.

I tried playing again. It is awesome. The music is great. The way the grey background blends in with the text that says “too many users are trying to login right now” is exquisite. The transition from 0% to 1% in the queue is so smooth I didn’t even realize 20 minutes had passed.
