The new Ezio's Family theme sounds Ennio Morricone inspired, with a bit of Lalo Schifrin mixed in.

I still say that Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most awe and sensational looking games ever made...but have to admit, Shadows is looking pretty darn good....

Tsushima has better "art direction", but this looks like it has more robust detail.

Earlier today, Ubisoft canceled its online appearance at the Tokyo Game Show due to “various circumstances”; however, Insider Gaming has learned that Ubisoft has also canceled its press previews of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Same week as Civ 7 and a week before both Yakuza and new Monster Hunter. I was probably going to wait anyway but that new date guarantees I won't play this game for months after it releases.

yea...the cancelled Tokyo Show at the last minute and then the Press Show for Shadows was not a good sign...and today we found out why....

Though disappointed yet not unexpected. Now maybe hope Ubisoft announces an AC Remaster and hopefully Black Flag. Still, the entire Show was cancelled which is another thing entirely.

No offense but from what I've seen, Ubisoft with the new upgraded ANVIL Engine has done a remarkable if not stunning job on what we've seen. Here is a Tech Demo on the Weather Effects, Seasonal Change, lighting, etc....

This game looks great and I'll definitely get it... I won't really understand how it all ties in to the AC universe and I'll confirm my suspicion that it'll never as good as GoT.

If one looks at the early...AC Universe....which seem to be rooted in Old Europe, yea i can see the question being a good one to ask. however, they started to expand The AC Universe; and rightly so with Early American, Pirates of Carribean, Ancient Egypt, Viking period, Early Rome & Greek so many started to ask about Old Japan/China style of game. The Legendary Samurais were rooted in both Open Combat but also Stealth so one can see they opted for Two Types in Shadows. No, it's probably not going to match GoT (which I Platinum) but I think it'll hold its on. Given the two choices I'll probably opt to play the Female Assassin since it seems to fit a more traditional AC.....

It sounds like it’s similar to Syndicate, where you can switch back & forth and have a lot of freedom, but some missions require the use of a particular character.

As Adam stated but it appears Ubisoft...at least a rumor....is adding Co-op Mode. Not much details but under codename....LEAGUE. Sounds a bit of taking a page out of GoT with Legends (really like to get back and play this).....
