Re: What are you playing? (February 2024)
I’m about to get the fifth star in Super Mario RPG, so I’m a good ways into that.
After that will probably be Moss: Book II or Assassins Creed: Mirage.
I don’t have a co-op game going with my better half right now — she’s fixated on Mineko’s Night Market — but Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime will probably be next for us.
Not sure if I’ll be getting any new games this month. I’d ordinarily pick up Suicide Squad, but that sounds like a “wait many months for updates and a crazy price drop” thing for me; not really into GAAS at launch. The plan was to get FFVII: Rebirth on day one, but I’m cooling on that a bit, if only to wait for a price drop since I still have a sizable backlog.
(Aside from what I already mentioned, I haven’t gotten to Street Fighter 6, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, or Persona 5 Royal either.)

PS5:
Death Stranding (Slow and meandering, but weirdly enthralling.)
Kena: Bridge of Spirits (Kinda cute, but not as engaging as I hoped.)
The Quarry (Trying to get a better ending than my first playthrough.
)
PS4:
Until Dawn (I may as well play it before getting the rebuild/remaster.)
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (Not enjoying this, despite being a fan of the franchise, so I am off & on with it.)

About 20 hours into Like A Dragon. Need to finish this up before I start Infinite Wealth.

Just Mortal Kombat 1, but sadly, I think this series has officially gone the Call of Duty route.

Going back and forth with these..

For some reason I thought this was released in March instead of Feb.

Warframe and hope to get back into Revenant 2 sometime...but I made a last minute decision on getting this...just some plain good old fashion stupid, silly, laughable shotem' up fun......now to find some friends playing it

I wasn't over the moon with what I played of it last night. Certainly not bad and much too early to make a judgement, but it didn't wow me for all the hype it has been getting. Had a lot of trouble figuring out where to go to complete objectives and some of the big bugs would just kill me instantly if the threw up on me. The group I play with seemed to all share my initial impression as well.
