Re: PowerWash Simulator

Decided to give this a go the other day since you guys were talking it up. I washed the van and got halfway through the backyard level and realized it wasn't the game for me. However I spent another half hour just finishing up the backyard (to have two levels complete) and realized, nope, it's a hard pass. This was a snoozefest. I figured there had to be something more satisfying to it. Nope.

To be fair, I have a real power washer and do my patio, furniture and house every year. That's satisfying. The digital equivalent? Not even a little bit.

Oh well. Glad some of you enjoy it.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

I played the PS5 version last night and I forgot how bad this cramps my hands. My hands were sore after washing the van with only the red nozzle to get the trophy and I did enough on the second level to get the trophy. My hands were shot after. I did work on a tractor on Thursday. My hands were a little sore still yesterday, but I had to quit after less than an hour due to my hands cramping up.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

You can turn on the automatic spray with the d-pad. Later you will get more powerful washers and even a trident like sprayer that obliterates grime on surfaces and makes washing even large surfaces a lot easier.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

Just wrapped up the main campaign and bonus jobs. Had a blast with it.

Time, however, to now take a break and break out the real thing. My deck, steps and walk are crying for it.

I got this on PS+ and while my kids enjoy it, I got terrible motion sickness playing it, so weird.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

I just ended up irritating my wife whenever she saw or heard me playing the damn game. I ended up quitting it 6 months ago so I could do the real thing and get her off my back. I never returned to the game.

Admittedly, towards the end of the game, my wife had the same reaction. So its good that I finished when I did.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

Alice in Wonderland DLC is out and really fun. They did a great job with the theming. They also updated a bunch of the previous DLC. Added a new job (The DeLorean) to the previous Back to the Future DLC and the Free Santa's Workshop level is now in a new category of "Free Seasonal Updates" which according to their roadmap will be getting a free level update each season including a summer one soon. They also have more main story free content coming (Muckingham Files 3 & 4) and another paid DLC they haven't shown yet. Really glad they continue to release more PowerWash content on a regular basis.

Can't wait to play this when the DLC is released. Though I can't help but think that cleaning the swamp would be antithetical to what Shrek wants. LOL

Re: PowerWash Simulator

Finished up the Shrek pack yesterday. Another great DLC this one with 5 areas and a couple are pretty large and took me over an hour a piece.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

Question - is the Warhammer DLC worth getting, if you don't come into it with any knowledge about the game series? I have purchased all of the other available DLC since I have familiarity with each of themes/sources, and even when the levels aren't great, there are usually Easter eggs to keep me entertained. Warhammer, on the other hand, is a total wash for me.

FWIW, I just wrapped up the Alice DLC (really enjoyed that one!) and will be tackling the Santa's workshop on Friday. That will leave just the Shrek and Spongebob DLC to work through afterwards, which I plan to tackle while on my extended winter break. Trying to determine whether I should bite the bullet on the last available piece of DLC and add that to my end of the year plans.

.
I don't really have much knowledge about Warhammer either and I enjoyed it. I found the story bits pretty over the top and funny. Not my favorite of the packs but still worth a play if you enjoyed the other ones.

Much appreciated. Went ahead and ordered it today since Steam had select DLC, including this one, for 25% off for Black Friday.

Re: PowerWash Simulator

Based on a post from the PowerWash Simulator developers today, it looks like some Wallace and Gromit DLC is due in the near future. (Fingers crossed)

Good timing, too, as I completed the last of the available DLC this morning with the Spongebob pack. Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy's invisible boat was probably my favorite vehicle across the main game and DLCs so far.
