Favorite weapons in videogames?
 

I was playing as Kratos in God of War and love the Stormbreaker like axe he has. but, it got me thinking of some favorites at of all the shooters or games that use shooting as a technique i've played. i do like a good sniper rifle and Borderlands has plenty of those and other great guns. love a good shotgun as well, but can't recall a particular game i've loved it in. probably most effective in Resident Evil 4, but i am sure other great weapons out there that you just love...

Easy.

The Carl Gustav M2 rocket launcher from Battlefield Bad Company 2.

I have 5,000+ kills with it and it is so, so fun.

At my peak, I was good enough with it I could take out groups of enemies over and over with ease, to the point people sent me angry messages insisting that I was cheating, which I wasn't.

Yeah, there just hasn't been a rocket launcher like it since in any other Battlefield title.

3. Goldeneye's Proximity Mines
4. Call of Duty Zombies Wunderwaffe

The double barrel shotgun in the old Doom games. I wish you could play the whole game with it.

Second would be the rocket launcher from the same games, if you had a full arsenal of rockets and could stand across an open area and just pile them onto the big demons from afar it was pretty fun.

I loved the Railgun from Quake 2. That blue swirly made me smile!

Auto-rifles, like in Destiny.

But the double-shotty from Doom is GOAT.

I can think of three that are my personal all-time favorites....

Gears of War Lancer...hands down the most fun weapon I've ever used....shoot & chainsaw , what more can you ask for...

God of War Kratos Axe...as bad as it is just whacking awy...able to re-call and seeing it pop back into Kratos hands is a unreal sight....
