Re: NBA 2k23
If I have a 2k account that's not just associated with my xbox/ps login, I don't know what it is...
Also, I don't think any passwords, even 2k passwords, were hacked. This was basically a customer service hack and if you got fraudulent mail from them and clicked on one of the links in the email, then change all your passwords in your browser (even non 2k ones) because nobody knows what they could have put on your computer. |
Re: NBA 2k23
My code for NBA League pass came today via email from 2K

Re: NBA 2k23
My Jordan challenge is glitching or something. I’m at the 3rd challenge against the Celtics and already completed the challenge twice with 3 stars but it goes back to the challenge menu and gives me no stars and I can’t move to the next challenge. Anyone having similar issues?
Also, not liking that the shooting is based on the rating instead of timing. Basically, no C-D level shooter can’t improve unless I manually manipulate their rating. In the past couple of years, shooting was based on timing, allowing bench players to actually contribute instead of just sucking the life out of the game |
Re: NBA 2k23
Little annoying things from 2k23: the Bulls 2010-11 classic team doesn’t have Luol Deng anymore since apparently 2k didn’t get his rights. That’s fine. What isn’t fine is that James Johnson, who’s currently on the Pacers roster, is not in the 2010-11 Bulls roster, a team which he was in for the whole season as a rookie. Instead, he’s replaced with generic players.

Re: NBA 2k23
I bit and got this from Best Buy for $22 after some credits I had. I've not played a 2K basketball game yet... but this one has excellent reviews.

Re: NBA 2k23
Now the digital versions are all on sale, including the Jordan edition (though you still get Booker as an icon on your console)

Re: NBA 2k23
Question for you vets of this series (this is my first time playing). I started a franchise mode in the modern era and playing as the Detroit Pistons... in real life, Cade Cunningham is hurt but why is he also hurt in the game I'm playing? Is there no way to play with rosters that don't reflect the real NBA?
Thanks in advance. |

Thanks in advance. If you're in a mode where you basically have god access to rosters (ie: not something like myplayer) you should be able to go to the player in the roster and edit their "vitals" to change their injury, at least that's how it worked in the past. |

Did you start the franchise mode after he got hurt? Usually once you start a mode they don't update injury status in real time (though they simulate fake injuries and the like).

Edit: turns out you need to start you franchise with "injury free rosters" at the very start. They actually update the real rosters every day based on injuries.... which is impressive. This game is fun. I need to dial in the sliders to my liking but I'm close and having a blast. |
Re: NBA 2k23
Played a little NBA 2K 23 after all the trades went down.
The new update file with all the trades is huge. 2+ gigs. It takes a few times to load and re-load to get all the changes in. |
Re: NBA 2k23
 I don't know if the real life Lakers will do as well, but since the trades that went through, I can really ball with this team. It's the most useful lineup the Lakers have had video game wise in years. And be sure to sit behind the 3 point line with Jarred Vanderbilt. He's automatic from the 3-point range.
