Thread title updated! Kinda funny that it's missed expectations so much that 2026 isn't even an option in the poll from 3 years ago. The dumb thing for me is that I saw the date on Bluesky, and my first reaction was "wow, I can't believe it's coming so soon!" because I missed the "2026" and forgot that it was already May.

I wonder if we'll start seeing a flood of release dates soon, since I'd imagine a lot of publishers were holding back so they could avoid the GTA VI tsunami.

I am actually surprised. As noted, so much of the back half of 2025 was on hold because of GTA6. I kind of figured it was close to done for how long we've been hearing about Fall 2025.

Yep. In 2023 most of said it would release in 2025. Now that they're saying 2026, I will expect first half of 2027 for the release.

Doubt it. That would probably be the final year of this generation of console. I expect they want close to two years of current gen for sales of the game.

Saw your reply then saw a post on Instagram as well, thanks. I thought the shot of him walking out of the store was weird as it just showed a close up of the six pack and his lower legs - like they modified the shot to show-off the beer bouncing around in the bottles.

There is apparently a good chance that the woman voicing Lucia is this actress. She can't say whether or not she is as if so she had to sign an NDA. She's quite pretty if so.

GTAV dropped one month before PS4 and Xbone were released. I don't think they really care as they know this game will more than likely have a 15 year lifecycle.
