I’m getting excited for this. Think it warrants own thread. Hell, could be better than Marvel’s Avengers. Certainly, can’t be any worse…or could it?

I hope there are reviews soon.

Wasn't Avengers poorly received? Metacritic has it at a 65 critic score and a 4.9/10 user score. Not good. Hopefully it's better than that.

Even speaking as someone who liked Avengers more than most…yeah. But everything I’ve seen and read so far about Guardians has been positive, whereas most everyone was leery about Avengers from the very first trailer, so I think we’ll be in good shape.

All reviews seem to mention great story and writing. Also, linear, great single player, my kinda game! Can’t wait to play this weekend.

Aren't you in the middle of playing like 25 games right now?

I'm leaning towards a buy. I love a good single player story and Guardians is my favorite Marvel series. I'm just disappointed they didn't use the movie likeness for the characters. Probably gonna read some of the comics before diving into the game

Started this up and Impressed with the "fake" soundtrack in the opening
Spoiler:
the fact you can listen to the entire star lord album chilling out reading the album jacket is crazy . I figured it would cut out eventually

I just play what hooks me. So far, nothing grips me. Hopefully, this is the answer to get me back. FC6 ain’t bad, but I need to yearn…

Is it just me, or does this come off as Mass Effect with a GotG skin?
(I mean that in a good way)

I didn't mean keep track of the number of games you have. I meant keeping track of what's going on in these games.

I checked after you posted and saw the PS5 version with Steelbook was available and I ordered it. Now I look and see it's OOS.
