and I guess games can be challenging without dying. I mean not on first run though, but I know on consecutive RE4 runs having unlimited anything was all I needed to be an indestructible bad ass and not die. Sands of Time was about using a limited amount of sand, sometimes gaining back to reverse time to save yo self. But, that was limited, once you used up bar and didn’t gain more you dead. Every time I fall in this Elika holds out her magical hand and saves me. Many times, over and over. I don’t know about battle bc every battle has been cut short by cut scene and never finish anyone off yet.

But that’s the thing. It just didn’t matter. There are no consequences, no lives lost, no sands drained, jump wrong, get saved to same platform you started on. Maybe that’s the point. I’ll get back, but mindless collections snd gorgeous worlds in Spyro beckons…

Lost Crown was pretty 'meh and never heard of the other one. Sounds like more of the same. Before those the last one was 2010's Forgotten Sands, so pretty neglected.
And yeah, Rayman being MIA is shitty too.
