Reminds me of Grabbed by the Ghoulies or Voodoo Vince or any of the other long-forgotten Xbox 3D platformers. Not feeling it.

Fuck 2021! I don’t think I ever played something like that before and haven’t played a true platformer like that since, I kid you not, I played, but never finished Super Mario Sunshine when it originally was released on GameCube. Mostly FPS now. This looks incredible and loved the music. Please someone pm me when this is up for preorder!

Looks cool but I'm not signing up for next-gen for stuff like this. Now I know I will eventually get Sackboy Adventures because my son is psyched about it so who knows about this.

nm...saw it is. preordered that bad boy. can't wait. do we know 1st quater 2021 or anything? $60 is a little steep, but hopefully this is all that and a bag of high priced chips...

Your observation of how I perceive a game as enjoyable or not for myself is odd. Are not all forms of art, which include video games, subjective as to whether or not they are enjoyable to each of us or are considered good? Let's be honest, the game does look like a much flashier version of platformers we get now, but that alone doesn't make me want to play it. Next-gen or not.

You said it looks cool but not next-gen so you're not interested. Now you're saying "videogames are subjective as to whether or not they are enjoyable" about a game you haven't played. Which makes no sense and has nothing to do with my previous comment.

A game can look amazing but not be fun to play or your own cup of tea. Kind of like amazing special effects in a movie like Avatar where you are a person that cares about stories and in that particular case the story is derivative and sucks. I'm sure you've dated at least one good-looking woman in your life that turned out to be a bore or not who you expected.

I mean Q when I and others talked about how amazing Hades was and how well reviewed it was and what an achievement it is for an indie studio, you dismissed the game out of hand as a Rogue-like and nobody criticized you for your opinion.

I didn't dismiss the game I said I don't care for the genre. He's saying Balan Wonderworld looks cool (so otherwise a game he would be interested in) but it's not next gen enough for him so he's not interested.

Sidenote: I'm currently playing Hades. I've put about 10 hours into it.

Who knows whether or not it is fun. I will likely end up playing it some because my son is interested. I wouldn't want to bring down any potential earnings for you in the project. However, it will likely have to be around the 20-30 dollar range before I bite.

It's up on Best Buy, though they haven't updated the cover art to what Square Enix revealed today.

ummm, yes, i believe the title of thread and pre-order date when i ordered alluded to that fact. i will have a Series X in March 2021 (barring any unforseen forces of nature, fire, theft, death, what have you), thus i can't wait to fire it up on my Series X next March. not sure why you assumed otherwise.

To be fair, everything PS5/Xbox One Series X looks like Xbox One X/PS4 with better framerates and raytracing.

Fucking awesome!! Can’t wait for this. I always see it preloaded or whatever they do for preorders, placeholder until released, not a downloaded game, just file/video game name. But this looks do good and great news about demo!! The graphical design and character models and certainly, the color look amazing.
