Yeah; only negative comment I've seen is that they haven't done much to advance the series beyond graphically. Otherwise, everything I've seen has been fantastic.

Which, honestly, I'm cool with. I marathon'ed eight or nine Ratchet and Clank games a few summers back and never got sick of it.

It's a dumb one. That's never a complaint leveled against Mario games. If they're great and fun and look amazing, why not just enjoy them.

You should. R&C (2016) is a fantastic, if too short, game. It's free with Playstation Plus.

Yeah, I know. My backlog is too damn big. As it is, I missed my goal of finishing Returnal before this launched.

You have admirable goals. I hope to finish Returnal before I die IRL, and honestly I don't like my chances.

I definitely need to check that out first. Will probably do that this summer then see if this drops in price later this year. This does look absolutely fantastic.

I wish this was out on the PS4 - I understand why it's not, but I'm still nowhere near being able to purchase a PS5.
Maybe by the time I get one, the game will be half-price.

Miles Morales just saw its first miniscule sale a couple of weeks ago (still active until tomorrow), a full 6+ months after its release.

That should give you an idea of when you might see the first R&C sale of any sort. This will undoubtedly be the biggest-selling exclusive game for the console until the next Horizon game.

I wish they took it one step further and pulled a Metal Gear...rather than spawning things from other Sony owned games, it should spawn things from games you own and have a save for.

…although there have been other ways to take the sting out. Brandsmart had Demon’s Souls for $50 and Miles Morales for $40 before Christmas. B&H had Demon’s Souls for $50 before the holidays as well. Someone willing to settle for a used copy could get Miles Morales from GameFly for $23-$30 or Demon’s Souls for $45 for the past few months. And then there’s stuff like Target’s B2G1F sales, although that’s a chunk of change to put down at once.

But yeah, I’ve been noticing the lack of widespread sales for Sony’s PS5 titles and have been wondering if this augurs badly for what we might have to look forward to.
