The lack of a previous-gen version wouldn't be so bad if there were at least crossplay, but the official FAQ says "nope". I thought this could be a fun one to play with my wife, but we don't have 2 Xbox Series consoles or 2 PS5s.

Well that’s a bummer. I probably won’t play this until later then as I’m not planning to buy a new console until a price drop happens. I really don’t do enough gaming (aside from Switch) to justify a new console.

I don’t keep up on games that much anymore. Love the Arkham games. But can you even get a ps5? So a big title next gen game to come out, but no systems.

Also hate that they had to mention “non lethal rounds” in that demo. It’s bad enough wb has ruined an action figure line that 99% adults buy.

Any idea if you can play the whole game as Batgirl or do you have to use specific characters for specific sections? Because I have zero interest in playing as any of the other characters besides her.

Related note, I started Arkham Knight last night to catch up on the series before this one drops. That first Batmobile challenge was super fucking annoying.

I might try to pick this up around Black Friday or near Christmas when there is hopefully a price drop. Can't regularly spend $70 on new PS5 games right now. It does look cool.

WTH....30FPS with no quality performance options...good grief.....this is XBox Series X and PS5..... not PS4 and XBox One we're talking about. And it's locked at 4K/30FPS no matter what even if you don't have a 4K set...my gaming monitor is 2160 but is capable of up to 160hz

I read the excuse to keep it at 30fps is for online co-op to work smoothly. But why not give 60FPS for those that solo?

That question is already being asked and brought up on other forums and Game News Sites...which is calling their excuse B.S and makes no sense. There are plenty of PS5 and XBox Series X games that run at 4K/60fps that are just as detailed and action pack....these include Assassins Creed Vahalla, Ghost of Tsushima, Far Cry 6, Resident Evil Village, Gran Turismo, Days Gone and God of War.....

...and by the way, PC Players do get custom visual settings and 60FPS....

Three friends and I play co-op together and were planning to all buy this until we saw it’s only 2–player co-op. It sounds pretty poorly thought out even for that, as both players can be the same character. I saw they’re adding a 4-player mode, but it’s just a 30-stage arena, not the campaign. Between all of that and the previews sounding tepid, that’s four sales they’ve lost.
