Tremendous amount of Zelda

Is anything here worth anything? Top row is just cases and instructions. Bottom row is complete. Game and everything.

You could check Amazon.com trade in values. They make trade ins pretty easy. I think I got about $60 for Gamecube Skies of Arcadia.

Sell them on an actual gaming forum.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

Could probably just request the topic be moved to the Video Game Exchange subforum too. I don’t think any of those command huge amounts, but you could make a little off them.

For some reason the GameCube version of Twilight Princess fetches pretty high amounts on eBay (looking at the sold items). I don’t know the history of it as to why it’s more. The Wii version looks to go for less.

Actually that Castlevania game for the DS looks to fetch a fair amount too.

I remember something about the difference between the GC and Wii versions of Twilight Princess was in one of them Link was left handed and the other he was right handed. I guess whatever way it was made the GameCube version worth more. Plus I believe the game was intended only for GC but late in developement they focused on making a Wii version so maybe the GC was released in less numbers.

From what I remember, the Wii version is mirrored, making Link right-handed, since most people swinging the Wiimote would be right-handed.

Damn that picture made me realize I'm terrible at starting and finishing Zelda games. I have all of them and only finished Twilight princess.

Looks more like a below average amount of Zelda to me.

Lets you play Game Boy game ROMs from memory cards on the Game Cube. Might require a hacked system.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

The GameBoy Player disc for GameCube is desirable. You can find the actual adapter pretty easily. The adapter is a separate piece that the GameCube sits on top of and can be used to play GameBoy/GameBoy Advance games. However the disc is needed for it to work, and a lot of times is missing for one reason or another.

Sorry, I know nothing. These were given to me. My knowledge of Nintendo ends at the N64. Just trying to assess what I’ve got.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

i'm so glad i hooked my GameCube up again bc i always wanted to finish Twilight Princess (my first foray into the Zelda world) and i was loving it. things happened, i didn't continue for one reason or another and then the new wave hit and never got back. hoping to do so and start from scratch again. this thread has given me the itch...

I couldn't get into Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword. Bailed about 6 hours into each.

Well I mean you post a picture of a disc with giant letters on it that says "Gameboy Player Start Up Disc" and then ask what is this.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

There is zero reason to play Wind Waker or Twilight Princess on Gamecube. They already released superior in every way versions on Wii U.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

Huh, I must have missed the TP release on WiiU. I played on Wii and hated the controls(same for Skyward although the story there was lacking too at least what I experienced). Looks like it goes for cheaper than the Gamecube version on ebay. Might be worth tracking down and giving another shot if I ever get through my pile.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

I couldn't get through Skyward Sword. The controls were just too frustrating for me. I would love a remake that axed the motion controls.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

Looks to be some type of composite to component converter. Not positive on that though.

Re: Tremendous amount of Zelda

No, it's composite video and L/R audio from a 3.5mm jack to RCA jacks. I have one from an old camcorder.

Here's one at Amazon
