Don't spend any time playing for it, it's too monotonous. I'm down to the Rock-head Statue now being the last.

I'm still grinding it out, and listening to Isabelle prattling over and over and over and over...

Awesome! I had an extra one of those but just now read the post. Glad you knocked it out.

Thanks, yeah, me too. Now I can get in some real Paper Mario time before I clean up all the weeds on my island.

I could do without Isabelle. I wish they would bring back Phyllis and Pelly and even Pete the mailman. Also wish Tom Nook would go back to the store. Nook's Cranny has the same crap three and four times a week. And the Nook miles merchandise is beyond old. Why can't the rotate new stuff in at least once a month? We have had the same stuff since we got the game on release day.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

That's one good thing about Redd when he does appear... The 2 non-art items tend to be something you don't have or a variation of what you do have. The percentage of dupes on catalog items was pretty low when I was collecting art, and I felt like I already had a lot of items when I started.

I also agree the Nook mile merchandise remaining static is annoying. Nook miles have become mostly worthless to me.

I had the near perfect lineup of visitors this week.
Monday: Flick
Tuesday: Gullivarrr
Wednesday: Redd
Thursday: C.J.

And today is the next Bug-Off tournament so be aware. It runs from 9am to 6pm your time.

The game seems to want to force me into terrible situations. I want an island with a bucolic English feel. Hedges and hybrid flowers. Instead I have to strew washing machines and tables to complete some item requirement.

Once you get to 5 stars you can do whatever you want with your island.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

We’ve got an update coming on Thursday:

Basically, there’s Fireworks every Sunday, Luna’s back and we have the Dream World, and they are finally giving us Cloud Backups and Restoration.

Your copy of the game should update automatically for you, but if for some reason it doesn't, you can manually trigger the update by pressing the + button on the Animal Crossing: New Horizons home screen icon, selecting Software Update, and hitting Via the Internet

Would anyone be willing to buy for me the rest of the floor lights? The ones I already have are: White, Orange, Red and Pink.
I really appreciate it. Let me know if there is anything that any of you guys are looking for.

Chris sent me the rest of them a few days ago (thanks Chris!). I'll get on and mail you the colors you need tonight.

Edit: just sent them, let me know if you don't get them and I can resend.

Thanks Cow for those lights. I used all 8 to light up the area around my shops.

I attended a “catalog party” to get the floor lights. I now also have all soft serve lights, gnomes, pinball machines, arcade machines, popcorn machines and candy machines if you need anything.

doh, for some reason I didn’t get a thread notification. I would’ve sent the other lights at the same time as The Cow had I known.

Definitely interested in some of those. Here's the ones I am missing...

Soft Serve Lamp: Vanilla, Purple, Mango, Pale Sky, Green Tea, Chocolate Rainbow
Gnomes: Surprised, Hungry, Laid-Back, Rebel
Pinball: Blue, Black
Popcorn Machine: Red, Blue

Is there anything you are on the lookout for?

Will send those over. I’d love Diner items. I only have red diner items.

Edit: or Throwback race-car beds. I only have a yellow one.

Re: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (3/20/20: Switch)

Could you please order these for me?

Pinball: Red
Gnomes: Sprightly, Surprised, Reliable, Laid-Back and Rebel
Popcorn: Pink and Blue

I need to look through the lamps to see what I have.
Let me know what you would like. I can give you bells, a few gold or a couple of insect or fish collectibles. Thanks a bunch!!!

Just sent you the Red, Blue, and Pink race-car beds (oddly, I don't have the yellow one).

I'll have more time later and will look at diner stuff, I know I have several variations of different items.

Ok. Let me see if I can find the blue popcorn. Chris, do you need or want any of the six surfboards?
