I usually ignore the "hot items" that you sell in the Nook store but I happened to check yesterday and the item they were buying only took like 4 softwood and 2 iron nuggets to make of which I have 500 or so of each in storage. I didn't even use a quarter of my storage of those items and still made over 200,000 bells in less than 10 minutes of work.

How many bridges and ramps are ideal? I l’m curious to hear from people how much more “convenient” it feels to be able to run around without pulling out tools while exploring the island. I don’t mind using the pole vault thing, but the ladder is super slow.

Terra-forming is unlocked after you get a 5 star island and the concert, is that correct? I have a section of river that desperately needs a bridge, but the two sides are misaligned by like one square.

It is available after a 3 star island and concert.

Terra-forming is unlocked with K.K. Concert, but it is just 3 stars.

Just to clarify your wording. You can't move them. You can tear them down and then you can rebuild somewhere else but you have to repay for them all over again.
