Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Couple of questions:

- Which TV is best for XSX gaming - probably 50/50 gaming and streaming services? I was bouncing between the Sony X85J, a TCL 4 Series, an LG UN something, and a Hisense H9G or U8G. Couldn't find the Hisense, the LG had a couple big strikes against it, and something about the TCL scared me away. I did buy the Sony but it's still in the box. I mostly went with it because it allegedly had native 120 refresh rate, a couple HDMI 2.1s, and did score a little better (of the ones I was finding in-store) on RTings. Oh, and the stand has to be less than 42 inches wide. The Sony and the Hisense are a couple hundred bucks more than the LG and TCL, so I thought it was a little more future proof and I'd rather spend a little more for quality.

- So for those with 2 active consoles and multiple gamers in the house: How do you manage subscription services? There are 2 gamers in the house. If I set one console as my "Home" console, does that give access to my games, game pass unlimited, and gold including online gaming for anyone playing on that console? And on the other console, it gives access to all those as long as my gamertag is signed in? Can those be active at the same time - in other words, can someone else play a GPU game or play online on my "home" console, with me playing online while signed in on the non-home console? Or will each individual gamertag have to have its own subscription in order to play online at the same time? As much as I like GPU, I'd like them to come up with some sort of family plan or sharing plan.

I am a little surprised that I still can't buy one - - this console shortage doesn't get near the press that the PS5 shortage does, but I think it's just as scarce a commodity.
I scored two Series X back in December as Christmas presents and figured I would grab one for myself later. Now that Flight Simulator is coming out I thought now was the perfect time. Nope, still a complete farce. Not sure if I'm up to playing the games I did seven months ago to get one of these.

Can only speak to the LG CX series... I have the 65" OLED and I think it's pretty amazing.

I tried. Crashed (no pun intended) to the dashboard before I got airborne.

My buddy was flying around NYC and wanted to see the 9/11 memorial. On his pass by it, he crashed into it.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

For literally the first time since the system was announced I want an XSX. I have been checking for a few weeks and can never find one in stock.
For all the shit Sony takes about PS5 availability, they gave me direct access to a system at launch and then another opportunity to buy another one recently. I have been a member of XBL continuously since 2001 and they haven't offered me shit on how to get one XSX.

Which is weird to me because I seem to see way more tweets about Xbox systems going in stock at retailers than PS5. But that could be completely my perception and not actually true.

Xbox systems? I can find XSS everywhere and rarely found XSX bundles I have no need for. But just an XSX or a bundle with just a second controller? Nope I haven't seen any

^ Try Facebook sellers or marketplace (or whatever they are called) in your area. I did and picked up locally and got for retail brand new. Great transaction.

No thanks. I don't want to deal with anyone that sketchy and possibly void a warranty. I got ripped off before buying what I thought was a PS4 Pro but was actually a broken router from Amazon Warehouse. There are really dishonest people in this world and I need some good consumer protection. And this is literally the first day since the days of the WiiU where I have had any game out there that I wanted to play but couldn't. I can wait a bit.

I don’t know how long they last once wario64 tweets about it, but Walmart and the MS Store had the Series X in-stock on Thursday.

MS might restock their store on Thursdays. They’ve had them the last two Thursdays, at least, around 6 PM Eastern.

oh, wasn’t aware. A friend mentioned when I wanted one and I think my mom sold once. My experience was so easy and totally honest. He opened, what looked to be unopened XBSX with the supposed “correct” seal my friend told me to look for if brand new, showed me inside. You could tell he was a normal, family man who wanted to unload or had or whatever and extra. Nice friendly neighborhood which we actually saw at work when we googled.

Sorry your experience was bad. Didn’t know FB Marketplace was sketchy. Just cheap or retail or little beyond and only hitch is you pick it up yourself somewhere close to near live or work. I guess I know now. Never had a need before or for seeing any need. I don’t really do eBay anymore. Amazon or bust for me. At least this way when I get jerked around or it goes to wrong shipping address, I will be compensated. Oh yes, I will. And have. Many, many times bc though Amazon are idiots, it’s so huge, that all these trinkets like Blu-ray’s are total right offs.

Re: Xbox Series X - 11/10/20

Both my SSD’s are at or near 100% capacity. One is 98, one is 90. I hint know why I feel the need to kerp all these games on them when I only play one at a time. They are all optimized games which is why I keep them thee obviously and always figure I can just play them optimized easily instead of moving from another external hd back to SSD. I don’t know. I’m so fucking OCD!

Damn thing looks pretty fucking amazing. However, it is boring. Haha. Flying was never my thing.

The maps are also grossly outdated, too. Stuff that was built nearly 2 years ago by my house isn't in the game.

I thought these files were supposed to get smaller. I haven’t seen a single difference. I dunno. Still load times are amazingly fast as is every other thing on the system.

We had a pretty big dust/thunderstorm here. My buddy took off in the game and headed south to Tucson. He said there was dust and lightning in the game. He said it was amazing. That is some cool shit
