Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

Couldn’t I just back up my console storage (1TB) to a 1TB usb drive. Then, move my usb to the 8TB drive and keep switching out till all my extended storage will be in my console folder and move console to 8TB. Does that make any sense?

I on the other hand played the GoT New Game+ as soon as I finished it.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

What if I emptied my 1TB console storage into my 4TB SSD, then move 1TB of external hard drive games to console storage? Unplug the 4, plug the 8 and transfer what’s in console storage to the 8, do it a few at a time by swapping hard drives? Wouldn’t that work?

Only took 18 hours, but it worked. I have much more room now. I feel so relieved.

What a rollercoaster. Too early in the morning for that kind of drama to play out. Glad you got it done.

Streets of Rage 4 is phenomenal, in my opinion. One of the best games of 2020, with an amazing soundtrack too.

Nobody really knows. I stacked so many years at one time (many years ago) that I broke the system. But you could easily do 3-4 years. Don't know why you would without an actual sale. There's no upside at this point. I guess the one thing would be extending an Essential membership, then upgrading to Premium tier at the discount.

Well there is a sale coming up but I don't think you can stack more than 12 months, right?

When they announced the price of PS Plus was going up, I stacked a few years...but then again, that wasn't a sale.

The sale is only for one year, and only for "new" members. Should work for expired memberships but not for active ones.

Were you actually running out of space? Seems like a lot of time consumed, stress and drama when you already had a ton of storage.

Re: PlayStation 5 - 11/12/20

I haven't had any internet in a few days after lightning hit my apartment building and fried the internet. I used my PS5 to watch Dune Part 1 in 4k and was pleasantly surprised by the viewing experience. I was worried the drive would get really loud like it sometimes does when I'm playing a game on disc, but it didn't. I felt the picture quality was quite a bit better than 4K streaming too. I'm going to have to buy the media remote. I did not like using the dual sense for my remote control. I accidentally hit the trigger buttons and skipped a chapter forward or backwards a few times and had to rewind or fast forward to get back.
