Excellent, my son loved the first Ghostrunner game and wanted the sequel. It was too difficult for me though.

Yeah, they're slowly giving D2 expansions for free as they age. Witch Queen couldn't have been more than a few months ago.

I can't wait to play Tunic again on a big screen.

It’s a very cute ‘SoulsLike’ which means you can get your ass whooped by pretty much any enemy if your approach to combat is just button mashing.
It’s also centered around slowly opening up a map to get to different areas, backtracking, etc.


I played a few hours of it on GP, but didn’t love it.

I played a little of that new Metroidvania game that's free for PS Plus Extra : Tales of Kenzera: Zau. It's pretty nice. Simple combat and lots of platforming. Reminds me of those two Ori games. Might be made by the same people. I'm liking it so far. If I hadn't just gotten the new Prince of Persia game (which is pretty similar in a lot of ways), I'd probably be even more impressed. But this game is still very nice and made on a much smaller budget.

It wasn't made by the Ori studio; however, they do have a new game on PC that I think is an action RPG. Haven't looked into it much.

I’m enjoying it, but it’s still an Early Access game so it’s not without issues, particularly on the performance side. Even my 4070 Ti Super and Ryzen 7700 struggle to keep a consistent frame rate at decent settings, but they’re constantly tweaking that stuff. Nothing like the Ori games aside from the vibes, if that makes any sense

edited to clarify: GMG (a popular online store) is issuing refunds due to the PSN issue. Steam apparently has chosen to keep selling it, even though players in some countries won’t have any way to access the MP mode.

Sony is releasing Ghost of Tsushima on PC in a week but stores are already removing it in many countries.

PSN login is only required for the multiplayer part of the game.
They’ve (GMG) been taking pre-orders in every country, but are now blocking the game from being purchased anywhere that PSN isn’t actually available, and issuing refunds.
PSN isn’t even required for any aspect of the single player campaign, but this protects the store since people might feel duped if they buy a game and can’t log in for the MP stuff.

Animal Well has to be one of the most unique games I've played in a while. I'm glad I knew very little about it before diving in.

Yeah it's very cool. Surprised it's really a puzzle game instead of focusing on combat or platforming.

I saw the first credit roll from getting the 4 flames. I'm sitting at 30 eggs. I need to find two more to unlock the next egg door. It's hard because there's no way to know for sure if a puzzle can be done with the items you have or if others are needed. There's one that I feel like I should be able to do but I can't figure it out. It might need the top, which you get at 32 eggs but there's no way to know for sure. I might be at the point where I need to start looking up solutions if I want to unlock more.

Edit: I just learned that there's one thing that is only done if your system is set to the date of Groundhog Day. Which is particularly diabolical since the game came out a few months after. Without trial and error, that one wouldn't have been found until next Feb.

Just of curiosity, did any of you resubscribe to PS plus after the huge price hike last Fall? Or are some of you still on grandfathered extended subscriptions? I opted to pass. I’m not a regular gamer, so it wasn’t worth it to me.

I paid for like 6 or 7 years of PS+ right before the PS5 was released, so I'm still coasting on the lowest tier. Won't be renewing in the future, though.
