Re: What Are You Playing? (September 2019)

Next up for me is a replay of Gears of War 4, then onto Gears 5.

In an unrealistically perfect world, I'd finish Gears 5 before Borderlands 3 comes out. I've never played a Borderlands game before, so fingers crossed that it winds up being my kind of thing.

I want to start on Astral Chain at some point this month, if time allows. I've preordered Link's Awakening, although I can't really imagine tearing into that this month. I'm sure I'll be playing something with my wife...maybe chipping away some more at Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. I got her the new Fire Emblem as part of an anniversary gift, so maybe she'll give that a shot before the month's out.

oh man, it's a total blast from start to finish. if you like blasting shit with thousands of different kinds of guns in many different ways and that's about it, with quests aplenty and leveling up, but not to a complicated degree (hell, i figured it all out), then this franchise is for you.

Re: What Are You Playing? (September 2019)

Trying to get through Shadow of the Tomb Raider before Borderlands comes out. Unfortunately I have an unsatiable desire to 100% the TR games, so I'm unsure if that's gonna happen.

Then I was looking at my games and realized I have Days Gone sitting there too. Also saw Assassin's Creed Odyssey which I don't even remember buying.

Re: What Are You Playing? (September 2019)

Assassins Creed Origins on XB1.

Finished the main story of the base game , Hidden Ones and only a few msin quests left for Curse .

I have over 100 hours logged and still have a ton of side quests to finish and those damn question marks to go to. I normally just do the main story and side stuff and shelve it. But for some reason. I have the desire to 100 percent this mammoth game.

Control
Remnant From the Ashes
Fire Emblem

I really like Control a lot, but Remnant is the game I can't stop thinking about. I think a lot of people will sleep on this one, but it's actually very good.

PokemonGo
Kingdom: Two Crowns

It's all I play anymore. I might try to see what SNES games are on the Switch service now.

It's a really good game. I didn't connect with it quite as much as Her Story but well worth playing if you enjoy these type of FMV games.

Re: What Are You Playing? (September 2019)

Astral Chain is so goood. I've liked a bunch of Platinum games but this is the first one I've really loved. I just unlocked my own cat rescue. It's like this game was made for me.

Re: What Are You Playing? (September 2019)

I bailed on Rage 2 and returned it to the library way before the due date and then I checked out the new Wolfenstein, but I probably wouldn't start on that until I play through Gears 5. I also want to dive into Destiny 2 Forsaken and Borderlands 3 but still have to locate and unpack my PS4 first.
