If anyone is looking for an interesting game on Gamepass I’d recommend “This War of Mine.” It’s been out awhile but I just started playing it. Addicting.

I've played This War of Mine on Steam a little bit. Man, that's a heavy game.
Playing Contrast right now. Trippy platformer puzzle game. It's only a couple hours long. Also, Shadow Warrior 3. It's not as good as SW2 but it'll be fun for a few hours.

If true, I'm kinda surprised it took this long. Of course I'd prefer they keep it, just modify it - new subscribers only, or subscribers expired past X month, etc. But I know there's a lot going on with GPU and the ActiBlizz deal.

Best option still seems to be to buy up to three years of Xbox Live Gold, redeem them AFTER your existing trial/membership ends, then do the ‘Upgrade to Game Pass Ultimate’ deal. The last bit has been a $1 promo for years, but I don’t recall what the normal price is. Either way, it’s still significantly cheaper than buying 3 years of Ultimate at full price.

Another option, as noted here before, is to do the daily/weekly/monthly grind via MS Rewards (all the ones that don’t cost you money), but that can be quite a chore. I’ve gone back and forth on doing that myself, so I just buy discounted Ultimate when sales come up if/when my points balance is too low to redeem a free month.

Sorry to ask again, but my Ultimate Game Pass subscription ended. I was recommend to buy a year of Xbox Live Gold and upgrade it to Ultimate. It looks like I can get a year of Xbox Live Gold for $59.99.
Can anyone tell me how much extra it will be to update it now that the $1 upgrade deal is over?

I just did it and yeah, $14.99

I just used that method and it worked. With tax it ended up costing me $82.29 for a year.

So if I already have Ultimate, I can wait for that to expire and do this process? (Assuming that the conversion is still active in the future)
