Has a game ever made you emotional?
Playing through the Gears of War series. On part 2 and just saw the cut scene between Dom and Maria. got to say, it was pretty emotional. i'm not sure when a game made me that emotional, but hopefully ones listed here will jog my memory.
i think the end of Red Dead Redemption was pretty good and made me emotional, but that could also be from shear exhaustion from playing the game. still good, but 100% was a challenge...
any games made you emotional or even shed a tear?

Other than having to kill Sif in Dark Souls, not really.

Yes, I became emotionally happy when I beat the final boss in Wallace and Gromit Project Zoo.

I like playing games with stories and lots of games have worked for me on an emotional level. Life is Strange is one of the ones that had the biggest emotional impact for me.

Not really, but a little bit... The very end of Portal 2. Companion Cube!

I can't think of a single AAA big budget title that managed to pull off an emotional punch.

That Hellblade is Senua’s Sacrifice, right? Tried to get into it, it was good, but didn’t stick for one reason or another. I mean I have GPU, so no reason not play. Maybe it was a little slow and not as action packed as I like, not sure...

Yeah. I saw on YouTube the video of that opening bus ride in Homefront and when that little child starts crying I knew I wanted zero to do with that game.

At the end of Seaman (Sega Dreamcast) when your pet frog that you raised from birth thanks you and hops away, my younger daughter cried.

That is precious.
Have you tried to find that scene on YouTube to see if she remembers it?

I recently finished Detroit: Become Human (which is a PS+ freebie this month) and that game has some emotionally powerful moments. And I managed to keep the main characters alive ... I can only imagine how hard it would be to have one of them die. Kara's sections were particularly touching.

For sure. Play a ton of JRPG's and the good ones usually pull at the heart strings.
Also, it was either Black Ops 1 or 2; there's a scene where you're captured and you have to watch your partner get beaten to death with a bat right in front of you. I remember being so amped up for the next mission to start so I could destroy everyone involved.

Papo & Yo, despite being pretty heavy handed, got to my emotions a fair amount. Same with Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
