It looks like Ubisoft accidentally leaked the follow up to Wildlands today by posting the CE on their store page. I LOVED Wildlands, so hopefully this is announced next month at E3 and released later this year or early next year.

The reedit page says an October 4th release date. Looking forward to seeing the game in action tomorrow. Although let's see if the final game comes out the same or with lesser graphics.

Information found in a second Reddit post supposedly regarding the game’s setting, campaign, and most notably, the main villain, has been removed. If the leaked information is to be believed, Cole D. Walker (along with an army of weaponized drones) will be the enemy that players fight in Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

The game is supposedly a direct sequel to 2017’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands. The leak suggests that Cole went rogue and killed Wildlands squad members Holt, Midas, and Weaver. Just recently, Operation Oracle was released for Wildlands, in which you worked alongside Cole D. Walker (played by Jon Bernthal). The Operation Oracle DLC teased that the next Ghost Recon game would take place on a fictional Pacific jungle island known as “Aurora.”

The leak also suggested that the game will launch on October 4, 2019, for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. As always, take all of this information with a grain of salt until things are either debunked, or confirmed to be true in tomorrow’s livestream event.

When the small leak the other day (Wednesday) came out along with the details, I was actually hoping it was wrong...especially with latest DLC Operation Oracle and how it played out. We did the missions and all and came away thinking we would team up with Cole Walker and end up going after Skell Tech and Kay Bowman. Before doing it even the trailer...and gameplay...gave the impression..."You will question your loyalties"...which we all pretty much agreed...Bowman was hiding something along with Skell Tech.....we got the feeling there was a major cover-up, Cartel, Skell Tech and Bowman were all working together.

Well...all that was shot down and the trailer literally blew us away....and I bet all those who did play the Operation Oracle didn't see that coming either...we didn't......Good Ghost vs Bad Ghost....wow....

I haven't played a Ghost Recon game in almost 12 years but that Trailer as well as the Gameplay Walkthrough has me sold.

We'll see more come E3 next month....me and another who have played GR:Wildlands were talking about the "Realism" that's being put in Breakpoint. Ubisoft has as a Military Technical Adviser a Emil Daubon who was a Green Beret for 14 years....Injuries, wounds, dehydration, hunger, fatigue will all be a factor. He said even say getting shot in your shoulder might mean you're unable to use that Two-Hand Weapon till you mend at "The Campsite"....which he even said is sort of real life as well...you mend, craft, gather stuff, eat, drink, sleep and plan. And The Campsites...which are like the Safe Houses in Wildlands....you'll be able to swap the Specialization Class based on mission type. Sounds more and more the game will alter and change how a lot play others Military Shooters...and FWIW, they said the map is about the same size as Wildlands....

I and others believe it not only will deliver but change the landscape and way a lot tend to play games like this. They are incorporating a "Pain, Hurt, Bleed, Dehydration, Fatigue" element in this that many are either going to be surprised are start crying about. We've been reading as much as possible in the game and no more just jumping and running without worries; you can hurt your leg that will slow you down, get shot in the shoulder might not be able to hold and handle the two handed gun. Get hit and bleed....slow you down and can't run. Don't eat or drink then fatigue and dehydration hits that can effect your aim, combat..... Have to craft and using materials and resources around the "Campfire" to mend, heal, work on weapons. The added "Four Specialists" that you can change depending on your plan and approach to the next mission is great...not to mention sneaking up and doing take-downs and assassinations...there's five us us already in for this.

My most anticipated game of the year without a doubt. I appreciate a lot of the new things thrown into the game, but I hope it's not a case of RDR2 where too realistic can hinder the flow and enjoyment.

I will be getting day one, season pass and probably book a couple of days from work to play this bad boy.

I loved playing Wildlands and after taking an 18 month break got back to it (it was only when i did back in February that i realized there were daily events going on and even decided to give Co-op a try). The game got mediocre reviews at the beginning, but i think it deserved a lot better. Breakpoint looks like it is really upping the game in every respect. The action promises to be even more fun and i cannot wait to explore the sandbox world.

Its funny, but Wildlands really feels and plays like a third Mercenaries game and recently i created my character to look like Mattias from that game. Keeping the spiritual love for Mercenaries alive.

This series combines just the right amount of arcade and strategy. You often shouldn't go guns a'blazin... but if you do it just right, you might still succeed. I loved plotting out my attack with the sniper rifle, taking a few key lookouts out and then methodically stealth killing some troops before opening fire or getting spotted by the remaining grunts.
