Yeah, I definitely recommend playing as Kass and setting a course directly to the isle of Lesbos.

Kass rocks. Glad I read up on that before starting. I could get lost in that voice all night. Lol. And yes, only romancing the chicks too!

Started this up last night and chose Kass based on comments. Fantastic game so far. I'm so sucked into the world I forgot I was playing an AC game. 3-4 hours in and I haven't found or even tried to find a vista point yet. That's usually the first thing I do in an AC game. Coming from a Greek family, they really did well with how names are pronounced. Very authentic.
Got destroyed by a higher level Shark a couple minutes in when I was diving for treasure. lol

I have hardly been playing this since the massive problem with leveling up post 70. Its practically impossible to hit the 25 million poins for the level up, and so I cannot even gain the new ability, let alone go onto the mastery leveling. And after a mediocre DLC I am not coming back until this ship gets righted.

Another thing that's pissed me off is the fact that two missions (one where I need a shark tooth...which I have yet to find even though I have killed a tonne of sharks, and the one where I need to return bear pelts, which I collected from the region indicated and have a of them) seem to be bugged and are impossible to complete.

Binged quite a bit last night; got up to level 15. Question regarding a choice I made:

Well, I finally finished this bastard. Good times!
Still some stuff left to do, but not much.
Looking forward to playing the DLC, but I wish they would've just released the whole thing at once instead of episodic piecemeal. I would've waited for the whole thing - in fact, that's what I'm gonna do.
I do like the potential they leave open for Kassandra...
I hope they fully exploit that over the next two years before the next proper AC game.
Those are both bugged for me as well (PS4).

Put more hours in and got to Athens. It's pretty overwhelming the amount of side content there is to do.
Any tips for getting upgrading mats other than buying them for real money? I really want to stick with the legendary weapons/armor I have but I don't have enough resources to keep them up to date.
I've decided to not worry about the decisions I make. Just gonna go with what I think is the good choice and deal with the consequences.

Don't actually buy a damn thing! You will be constantly getting new gear through missions and looting chests that will be at near appropriate levels. If you have to buy something, but the resources needed for upgrades, only if you feel you need to upgrade a specific item. Otherwise, you can find lots of those resources out in the wild, just by exploring.

Just wait, you'll need well over a hundred of each resource to upgrade at higher levels.
But you'll find plenty of that stuff throughout the game. You'll also find tons of Legendary items too. I would actually be bummed when getting Legendaries, because you can't sell them or dismantle them for parts.

So basically treat every weapon as if it's a throw-away even if its name would imply it's worth keeping? Would Nikolas' sword be stronger than other weapons at the same level if I were to keep up with its level? Or are all the legendary the same.

Almost - upgrade the ones you like best, knowing you don't need to keep upgrading everything.
When you go to upgrade, you can compare what weapons will have the highest stats at that level, and you can go from there.

Cool; thanks Slop. So it sounds like what I'll do is just use throw away Rare/blue weapons/armor until I'm able to upgrade the Legendary to match my level. Rinse and repeat as I level up. And I'll never bothering upgrading anything that isn't Legendary to help preserve materials.
Does all missions in the game scale with you? I remember reading about having to grind to level up but everything I accept (other than some Market bounties) seems to be my level? I'm level 22 and just met the Democracy guy in Athens.

I ended up starting over my game. I'm almost back to where I ended my last game. I'm about to do the Blood Fever and An Eye for an Eye missions again. My goal for Saturday and Sunday is to finish them and get to level 5 so I can fight Talos the Stone Fist.
