I am fairly terrible as well. I don;t really play much online stuff anymore (hell...I am not sure I even have a headset anymore) but I do enjoy all the comparison stats that many games like this do nowadays. It can give you little goals. I don't think I have even gotten far enough yet to even do the online stuff.

A far cry from the old Halo and COD clans where I was on every night and day for hours at a time.

I'm not great either, but I have fun trying to get better. I haven't really looked at the Friends tab yet, but I'm glad people here are playing. I've been having a blast so far.

I was going to ask here if skill songs were just really rare or something, but I finally found how to unlock them.

I have had a couple of game crashes, though, and one weird incidence of extreme slowdown, where the game was playing at about 5-10% speed.

I miss being able to name my character like in the last game, I picked a female driver so it is weird having her referred to as Gary in-game.

I've had some pretty good luck with the wheel spins, but man, every once in a while it's brutal. I did three super wheelspins yesterday and got nothing but dances and women's clothing.

There is a huge list of names and nicknames to choose from. I think they did it that way so they can actually call you by your chosen name and it sounds natural.

They had "Spider" under the nicknames so I chose that.

It's under the Settings menu. I forget what it's called, but I think it's under the first tab, and it's in the top-left corner. It's not with all the other character customization stuff.

In case anyone was wondering, if you have the UE and Gamepass, you don't need to put the disc into your Xbox to play it and still have access to all the extra content, while still keeping your disc in the Steelbook case. Win-Win.

Not sure if it's coincidence or if it looked me up, (doesn't take a lot of detective work), but by default it knew my name. Pretty cool when the game actually talks to me in my real name.

I suck at it - I fishtail like half the time, and let's just say I'm keeping the stone-fence-building industry going.

Why are you all on my racetrack? Is it like Destiny and we all share a world, or were those "ghost" cars of people on my friends list? Were they real time races or are we just cars passing in the night?

You're competing against "drivatars" -- AI that is in theory based on real players' behaviors, only I know some of my friends are much better drivers than their drivatars would suggest.

Yeah. I was stunned when the game was calling me Brian right off the bat. I was thinking what a weird coincidence...but then I thought about it.

I do the stone-fence destroying on purpose a lot of the time just because it looks and feels so cool...at least that is what I tell myself.

I assumed it called me by my first name because I had entered it in the last Forza game as the way I wanted ANNA to address me, but I guess you guys are saying it takes your name from your Xbox account or something?

That's what I'm thinking as well. In FH3, one of the first things you did was select your name that they speak out loud in the game and through the GPS. I think it just carried over.

This game is such a blast. I'm glad I've been able to dive into it like I did with FH2. One minor complaint is that I don't feel like the music is as good this time around. Not that it's bad, but I've played through the stations and find that there's only a handful of tracks that I want to keep hearing. I think I'll be using my own playlists in Spotify a lot more this time around.

One fun section was going through one of the first "stories" in the game. Calling it a "story" is a bit much, as it was just 10 events in a row, but it was fun! I won't spoil it in case anyone doesn't know much about it, but it's the one where you have to meet up with a blogger/youtuber.

I have Game Pass too, so will be getting FH4, but I want to wait till my current game updates are done. I’m pretty terrible at online play myself, as I mostly stick to the outdoor games, but my gt is shadowyvern.
