8 PM. We got our $0.13 and our first win (after...I dunno, several weeks of playing?). It was the largest group of winners they've ever had.

The payout for 9 PM -- which only 400-someodd people finished! -- was $20-something.

Well the less questions there are, the less chances for people to get thrown out. Just by guessing, odds are at least 1/3 of people will pass to the next question. When you have 8 questions, instead of 12, you're missing out on a lot of savage question opportunities.

I have two victories under my belt so far for a total of $5.64

I finally won. It's just the 8 question round, but I'll take the victory and the 83 cents! BTW there is a sports version that usually starts around 10pm Eastern 9pm Central time every Tuesday and Friday.

The E.B. White/Stuart Little question? I used a quick process of elimination and thought that that was the best answer of the three choices.

FWIW, if you play five days in a row now, you get a free life. And I don't think you even have to play, because I think as long as you check in when the game starts even if you exit out, that still counts.

I won the afternoon game, but I wasn't paying close enough attention tonight and went out on question 2.... I wish you could unselect an answer and select another one since I had a good five seconds left after I realized that I made a huge mistake.

The questions were ridiculously easy, which is opposite of how it usually is. I think they just wanted to give people the taste of winning.

finally won HQ, got $7.90. I've made it to the final question probably a half dozen times, always choked. Not this time!

So I started playing this recently after seeing some guys in a bar playing it and they were telling me about it. Then I forgot about it until I saw this thread. Decided to start playing and have yet to win shit.

Anyway, how do they make money for this game? I rarely see an ad (only thing recently was a 5 second mention of The Meg) so I just wondered how the heck they are making the money to give away the money?

From what I recall, it started with investors pretty much just giving their money away while they gained players. Now that they have some eyes, they've been having some sponsored games that probably help with funding. I think they're playing the long game, hoping to revolutionize the online gaming space.

So I'm on a bit of a roll... I won SwagIQ yesterday for .98, and this afternoon I won HQ for $1.33!

Won my first game recently when they had the anniversary games.

Last night was videogame trivia. The questions were pretty easy, though full disclosure I had to use an extra life on the DOTA/LOL question because I didn't know it was based on a Starcraft map. I thought they were based on Warcraft. Won a nice shiny $1.36.

I got fucked over on Q3 because the answers never came up on the screen until it was too late. Wish I would have stayed in to see the rest of the questions but I closed the app because I was so pissed.

I won 90s trivia! Right in my wheelhouse. It was my biggest win yet. A whopping $3.28!

$3.28 was enough to get me to the promised land. This probably ends tomorrow, but I won two big games earlier this week and the 90s game put me over top. For one day I can say I was #1 on the weekly leaderboard.
