Black Friday 2017

It's that time of the year again. Just three weeks away from BF, so ads should be leaking out anytime now. Post anything good that you see.

I think Kohl's is the only one out so far and they have $199.99 PS4 & $189.99 XB1S, $39.99 controllers for both systems, and $69.99 PS4 Gold wireless headphones.

Saw these in the Costco ad for BF:
Xbox One S 500GB Sports Bundle with 3-month Game Pass and Extra Controller for $299.99 (usually $389.99)
PS4 1TB Slim Console Bundle with Destiny 2 & Call of Duty WWII Video Games for $289.99 (usually $389.99)

I'm just hoping Razer puts a couple of their laptops up for a reasonable discount. I actually just want a Stealth but would gladly take a Blade.

I'm going to throw in my two-cents on if anyone wants to look at a gaming pc/laptop...I cannot say enough about Cyberpower PC.

https://www.cyberpowerpc.com/

Over a lot of years we had Gateway, Dell and HP mass produced models that were just average average. After the last one, a HP that was becoming a bloated software nightmare I said enough and decided to research and look at a Gaming PC built with specs and without all the software crap. I ended you going on Cyberpower and ordering a custom one from a pre-set category where you have countless options. We ended up with a Syber Case that came packed better than anything I've ever seen in my life. The workmanship and all...we didn't go with a lot of fancy lighted stuff...was top notch. If I ever buy another, it will be thru them.

Re: Black Friday 2017

Some deals on Switch games or accessories would be nice. I’m not counting on anything though. Maybe at least some 3DS deals.

Re: Black Friday 2017

The Target ad is out. $200 PS4 slim and $190 XB1S w/ $25 gift card. Some decent game deals, but pretty much what you would expect.

Re: Black Friday 2017

I'm hoping to pick up a PS4 Pro this year. With X1X out, here's to thinking the price might drop $50 - $100 on BF.

Re: Black Friday 2017

I thought it was a nice touch to include Pokemon games on the 3DS for $25, but then I noticed they were Ruby and Sapphire from a few years back, not the new Sun/Moon games coming out next week.

There is a spend $50 get a 20% coupon off your next shopping trip. But the small print on the BF ad basically says see the coupon for exclusions (which I imagine will include the Switch or other consoles).

Re: Black Friday 2017

For now from Target it would just be Fractured but Whole for XB1 for $30. But there are Switch games listed that I cannot read in both the $25 and $35 listings, and there is Lego Worlds for $15. And in all those categories it is the typical listing of more games included. So right now hoping for Mario Kart for $35. Now to wait for Best Buy, WM, and TRU.

The $25 Switch title is Dragonball Xenoverse 2, and the $35 is Super Bomberman R

Thx Edison, a pass for me on those but hopefully there will be other titles under those price points for the Switch.

Re: Black Friday 2017

Target and Walmart are my only stops locally. I might pick up Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World. I’ve thought about getting it before but didn’t want to pay $40 for it. I might also consider Super Bomberman R. Sort of wish it was $25 instead of $35 though. I’ll see if there are other Switch deals first.

I’d also like to get Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and War For The Planet of the Apes as far as movies.

Re: Black Friday 2017

I might grab Wolfenstein II for $30, and will definitely grab the Target limited Stranger Things blu-ray for $10.

I seem to remember that even though BB GCU wasn't supposed to stack with the Black Friday pricing there was a time last year where it did.

I picked up the WD 4TB external hard drive today. For $79.99, it was a no brainer.

Re: Black Friday 2017

After filling up most of my 2 TB drive with the 4K stuff, getting a 4 TB drive is awfully tempting.

Re: Black Friday 2017

WM ad is up now as well. Quite a few highlights, but the usual what game is that where you just see the spine. A couple of highlights I noticed.

Zelda Explorers Edition $49
Mario Rabbids $29
Assassins Creed Origins $29
Fractured but Whole $29
Destiny 2 $29
Forza 7 $29

Appears to be at least 6 Switch games listed for $29 and 3 at $19

Movies overall appear meh, but big highlight for me on page 1 is Cars 3 on Blu for only $7
