Valkyria Revolution for X1. It's pretty darn good, it's just got a lot of cut scenes. But it's got such a rich story, I don't seem to mind much at all.

I'm trying to wrap up AC Syndicate. The game is so FUCKING LONG, I just want it to end!

Just finished up Outlast 2 and the first Little Nightmares DLC. Not sure what I'm going to start next.

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2017)

I'm all over the place.

Mark of the Ninja
Shovel Knight (I hate this game, so it's not really fair to say I'm playing it. I don't want to play it ever again.)
Mass Effect Andromeda - Christ what a boring slog this game is.
GTA V - proof, to myself anyway, that I have no ability to replay games. I'm about two hours in and I think I'm done.
FTL
And Splatoon 2 when it comes out.

Yes, yes it is. Using the ability to save anywhere on the NES Classic made it possible for me. I'm not into using any other kinds of cheats, though.

Finished up Simon's Quest last night. Same thing. But, at least that game drops you back in the exact same spot when you lose all your lives.. even if it means you lose all your hearts, too. I didn't get the "best" ending though. Must have missed something along the way.

Yeah, and I knew I wouldn't like it even before I bought it. Everything about the game is an immediate turn-off for me -- graphics, music, difficulty, etc. But I was just dying for something to play on the Switch, so...

I'm playing Metro 2033 Redux now and it's fantastic. So good.

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2017)

Crash Bandicoot 1- From the N.Sane Trilogy. I'm on the last island. Oddly it's the easiest of the three islands. Only have a few levels to go . I never beat it back in the PS1 days and now I'm getting horrible nightmare flashbacks of why.

Matchland (IOS). I've put dozens of hours since the game launched. Currently at level 31. I've reached the point where you need to spend real money to make any real progress . So of course I caved and spent $25

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2017)

Just finished Horizon Zero Dawn....awesome.

Will probably play Until Dark now (PS plus freebie).

Maybe FF XII: The Zodiac Age since I love FF and never played this one as I had moved to PS3 by that point.

Re: What Are You Playing? (July 2017)

I'm still freaking playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands. One more main mission to go until I can get to the DLC. I'm so ready to be done with it now. After that, Horizon Zero Dawn is up.

That was how I was feeling as well when I was juggling AC Syndicate and GR Wildlands. So I put Wildlands down for a bit while I finished up Syndicate, and now I'm working through the DLC. Once I finish with that, I'm going to play through a shorter game and then return to Wildlands again. The game is fun, but playing two similar Ubisoft games at the same time can be tiresome.
