Re: E3 2017
Spidey!
Don't care for the white spider on the red and blue suit... |
Re: E3 2017
Tons of Destiny exclusive content
|
Re: E3 2017
Spider-Man!
|
Re: E3 2017
Spiderman: Arkham Edition
|
Re: E3 2017
That's it?
Never expected the only game I would care about would be a remake of a PS2 game.... And nothing about Last of Us 2? Guess it is still years away. |
Re: E3 2017
Spider-Man looks awesome!
|
Re: E3 2017
It does have some spectacular set pieces.
|
Re: E3 2017
2018
|
Re: E3 2017
Well, that 2018 sure was a downer.
|
Re: E3 2017
I'm in for Spider-Man!
|
Re: E3 2017
Is that it? If so, quite a bit underwhelming.
|
Re: E3 2017
too bad Spiderman is PS4 exclusive. looks fun
|
Re: E3 2017
Yup. That was it.
|
Re: E3 2017
I thought it was odd that there was no mention of Gran Turismo. Isn't that still this year?

I assumed MS would have this videogame presentation thing figured out by now. Sony would have to really fuck up in order to not blow them out of the water. |
Re: E3 2017
No Bloodborne 2 :(
|
Re: E3 2017
There was nothing there that was a true surprise. Uncharted, GOW and Spider-Man look cool. Days Gone looks good but not my game. Detroit is very interesting. How about a surprise or two? Damn!
|
Re: E3 2017
Just straight trailers? Weird
And no surprises...dumb |
Re: E3 2017
Can't wait to see 80% of these games again at E3: 2018
|
Re: E3 2017
I guess both companies are playing safe with the game announcements.

Re: E3 2017
For me, BG&E was a PG game... one I could play with my kids and after watching the trailer for BG&E2... wow, I was cringing at every curse word. Does UbiSoft think that since the audince is older (since they took so long to make the sequel) they've got to pull stuff like this just to get folks to buy it? Darn shame.
Flame away. ;) |
Re: E3 2017
So no huge surprises from either company this year. I guess they are on cruise control heading into year 5 in current gen.
|
Re: E3 2017
Where was the Playstation Ultra Pro?
|
Re: E3 2017
Yeah, Sony's stuff looked good but mostly nothing we didn't already know about. And I joked about it earlier, but I'm weary of so many 3rd person action titles on Playstation with what looks to me like very similar gameplay.
That said, Spider-man is probably the game i'm most excited about between both companies. |

Re: E3 2017
Yes, SOC looked really good.

So that's it for this year's disappointing E3 - see y'all next year! ;) |
Re: E3 2017
I was hoping for more VR content.
|
Re: E3 2017
It's time to move on from the following tropes:
1) Zombies 2) Unrealistic stealth and/or brain-dead, deaf, peripheral-unaware AI 3) VR 4) Melancholy cover versions of 80s pop songs to set the mood 5) Quicktime events 6) Lists |

Re: E3 2017
In film, PG-13 gets you one f-bomb. T should be pretty similar. I'm with Goldberg, the constant use of "fuck" was the first thing that stood out to me. The first game was a wholesome game with a great female protagonist. All the f-bombs on this were unnecessary.
Then again maybe that's Ancel getting some agression out on a 14 year development hell game.

I hate stealth so I, for one, am more than open to dumb AI in stealth sections in games that don't need or shouldn't have stealth to begin with. 3-5) |
Re: E3 2017
So uh, Crackdown 3 huh. Fool me once... once the trailer gets past that god awful Terry Crewes nonsense, it starts looking decent... but I bought and played Crackdown 2, which was a steaming pile of cow manure. I want this to be good, but I can't see myself buying it on day one. They're going to need a bunch of glowing reviews to get me to even buy it on the cheap.
|
Re: E3 2017
It's not your creation. Who are you to say they're unnecessary?
|
Re: E3 2017
If you can lift them from the script and still accomplish the same tone then they are unnecessary. There is nothing in that trailer that suggests that any of them are needed.
Someone should ask Ancel about it because it is a curious design choice.
