Good Lord, the English voice acting in Xenoblade 2 and FE Warriors was cringeworthy, though. |
Re: E3 2017
Ooof, so October 27th has Mario Odyssey, Wolfenstein, and Asassin's Creed. October also has Shadow of War (10th) and South Park (17th), with Call of Duty right there on Nov 3rd and the Xbox One X launch on Nov 7th with Crackdown 3. Battlefront II is right after on Nov 17th. And of course, everyone still might be playing Destiny 2 from September. Am I missing anything?
Busy busy. |
Re: E3 2017
Hey, at least Battlefront II is almost two weeks after CoD so you'll have plenty of time to finish all those games.

Re: E3 2017
I pre-ordered through Amazon Canada (Prime members only) the following games: Red Dead Redemption 2, Days Gone and Spider-Man for $50 which in the Canadian market is a great price for PS4 games. I also pre-ordered Shadow of War, Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon with the 20% off the E3 sale.
I have God of War PS4 game pre-ordered since last year. Hopefully, it will lock at $50 too like it is right now. I thought about Detroit, Battlefront II and Anthem but did not pre-order. |

Re: E3 2017
I figure I have on my go-to list as...
Start Wars Battlefront II......totally rebuilt and everything I've seen is a vast improvement. This will take Destiny's 2 place as I see it as nothing more than a 'Big Fresh Coat Of Paint"...with new powers on same three characters, new maps, new enemies. I see Battlefront far more enjoyable with multiple characters, air & ground vehicles, different sides, co-op and a solid looking SP story. Middle-Earth: Shadow of War...like Battlefield totally revamped and improved on, with more powers, bigger army, dragons to fly, Orcs, heads & limbs flying off...what's not to like. COD: WWII...finally going back to it's roots away from the sci-fi gizmos and to the bread & butter of real combat. This will be like playing Saving Private Ryan with Bullets & Blood everywhere. Knack II....played the first and for couch co-op with kids and family this will be even better. I got the first with launch PS4 and thought it was pretty fun. Wolfenstein II....the first was a blast with a great "What if....." story with some added sci-fi meets old weaponry, quirky dialogue and lots of blood splatter from Nazis.... For next year I'm all in for.... Red Dead Redemption II Far Cry 5...maybe on this but since they finally did add co-op to the entire campaign...yes God of War 4....one heck of a great looking game Still questions on but showed promise... Anthem....it's Horizon Zero Dawn meets Halo meets Destiny...environments looked stellar Days Gone....Far Cry meets Dying Light....looked good but this was originally showed at E3 2016...so question remains on both if and when... |
Re: E3 2017
good stuff Buzz, 8/8 sequels on your go-to/all-in list yet you make it a point of calling out D2 as nothing more than a "Big Fresh Coat Of Paint"
enjoy your games, many of us can't wait to get high off the fumes |
Re: E3 2017
Did I seriously see that Shadow of the colossus is getting remade???

Re: E3 2017
Insomniac's Spider-Man looks, uh... amazing!
|
Re: E3 2017
That really does. Was there any definitive statement that this was actual gameplay running on a PS4 vs. a promotional rendering? Frankly, it looks too good to be true.
|
Re: E3 2017
I wonder how many epic events like that are gonna be in the game
|
Re: E3 2017
It looks like InFamous with a Spider-man theme.
That isn't necessarily a bad thing. |
Re: E3 2017
Damn. That looked really good. Hope you'll be able to explore the city freely, climb every building.
|
Re: E3 2017
Infamous? Every comparison I've seen is Batman: Arkham with a coat of Spider-man paint.
Either way, it looks fun. |

enjoy your games, many of us can't wait to get high off the fumes ...in the meantime we still have the same three characters in Destiny just with a new set of powers, yes a new story that does sound intriguing, a few new enemies and maps. a tank added and a list of new weapons. As big as space is I cannot figure why Bungie cannot conjure up at least one or two other races/characters to add in the Destiny Universe. Why not add able to play the "Bad Guys" in PvP...SWB did. Bungie did a heck of a lot more with Halo...one of my favorite series... |

Re: E3 2017
Pretty sure I mentioned it earlier during Sony's conference, but Spider-man has me the most excited out of anything shown at E3. It looks fantastic. Exclusivity still sucks though, I might have to cave in for a PS4 Pro by the time it comes out.
Also, Insomniac mentioned there's a reason for the white emblem. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">It's explained in the game and has a purpose</p>— Insomniac Games (@insomniacgames) <a href="https://twitter.com/insomniacgames/status/874496043869650944">June 13, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |
Re: E3 2017
Should be interesting if it is related to the alien symbiote...
|
Re: E3 2017
Insomniac understands the PS4 architecture well, and they've mostly done Sony stuff, so the exclusivity isn't a surprise. If it were multi-console, I doubt it would look as good. Same thing if it were exclusive to XB1.
Speaking of which, when thinking of their last R&C game, this Spider-Man actually does feel like it has their distinctive stamp on it. |
