Co-op game from the makers of the really good indie game Brothers.

I loved Brothers but I have zero interest in a co-op only game.

EA's event was absolutely terrible. They start talking about the Star Wars Battlefront Story Mode and then show absolutely nothing of substance about it. Did anyone else find that strange?

I can now say with confidence Project Scorpio is $499. Unless something changes today, that is what will be announced.

Not in a hurry to get it. I'll wait for a good price drop in a year or so.

I'm guessing $499 for 2TB and $399 for 1TB with a staggered release, kind of like the One S.

Is that his guess, or did he decide to piss off MS and leak it?

I will probably be waiting as well. I don't even have a 4k TV yet. Plan is to get one next summer and I'll probably get a Scorpio as well.

If it's $499, I will wait for a price drop. If it's $399, I'm in.

I'm with Deftones on this. I'm not 4K yet and likely won't be until at least Black Friday.

I'll be getting a 4K TV soon since my current plasma has 6 black lines on the bottom, so it's only a matter of time.

I will also need a new receiver as well for 4K and the newer audio formats.

E3 2017: Microsoft's New Console Will Be Called "Xbox Scorpio"


A Best Buy Canada newsletter includes an image (below) that appears to confirm the console name.



Microsoft's mid-generation Xbox One upgrade has been known by the working title "Project Scorpio" since its first tease last year.

Aside from its final name, the other major point of interest is Scorpio's price. YouTube's Geoff Keighley has now suggested that Scorpio will retail at $499:

Apparently MS is giving away free games/DLC if you watch their presser via the Mixer thing. Involves signing up, linking to MS account and watching but seems pretty simple.

Looking forward to Bethesda tonight. Supposedly they plan to announce a new IP.

Seeing as it's Morrowinds 15th anniversary, my crazy prediction is that Bethesda drops a trailer for Skywind and announces a partnership with the mod team to get the game out by the end of the year.

I like how IGN has reached out to Microsoft. I'm sure Microsoft PR will clear everything up for them on the name before the E3 conference.

As for me, I got a 4K TV a few months ago so i'm probably in on Scorpio even if it's $499.
