Death’s Door (XBSX, XO, PC --> out now)
Could’ve sworn I posted this. Looks like a great top down scroller in vein of Warhammer, Diablo, etc. Getting very good reviews…

Re: Death’s Door (XBSX, XO, PC --> out now)
Oh man, I played this for bout half hour tonight. So fun and gorgeous! Gonna finish Bloodstained, then this, but this played and looked so great. Look forward.
And this is really my first top down scroller I’ve played. I played a bit of one of the Lara Croft ones on 360. But, that was so long ago and I really only played few minutes before I think I got frustrated with puzzle and played something else, but thinking I do want to play. It was prior to Guardians of Light, I believe. Remembered puzzles, looked great, fluid play, a little tough, but guess got distracted and never went back, though I have that and GoL on Series X.
But, if any of y’all like these games, see some footage, the review I posted. You might like and was $16.99 for like 5 more days I think, but regular price is only $19.99.

I bought it just probably won't get around to playing it until I finish Skyward Sword.

So I got a weird alert for this game on Xbox. Told me the ESRB rating has been updated. What does that mean exactly?

That's what it means, it doesn't get more simpler than that.
Are you saying you have no idea what an ESRB rating is?

I’m saying AFTER a game is released how can or why would the rating change? Perfectly legit question with your standard sarcasstic remark.

Then ask the actual question you mean instead of resorting to insults.
If you went to the site I linked, and you actually used it, it would answer your actual question that you never asked before.
Frequently Asked Questions | ESRB Ratings
How does the ESRB rate downloadable content (DLC) or other content updates that supplement a game or app?Downloadable content (DLC) often refers to additional content that supplements or extends a previously-rated product. In most cases, the rating assigned to a game also applies to its DLC. However, if the DLC content exceeds the rating assigned to the “core” product, it must be submitted, and a different rating may be assigned to the DLC.
Should the ESRB find DLC or other update that is incompatible with the original rating, the developer and appropriate digital storefronts will be notified of a change to the rating for the DLC or, in the case where the update is required, a rating change for the core product.

For digitally delivered games and apps rated through IARC, we can promptly correct the display of an inaccurate rating assignment, which serves as an effective enforcement mechanism.

I should have read some reviews before purchasing. I bought just based off trailer and screenshots. I put about an hour into and games with this type of difficulty based structure are not for me at all.
