I got annoyed with the main game and quit. I started some of the DLC with the silver woman but got stuck and gave up. Yeah, I suck at games.
I see there’s some additional DLC so I should try that at some point. I played the heck out of those in the original game and thought they added a lot of gameplay.

I did end up buying it again for the PC a couple months ago. These games are fun enough and a good way to kill a couple weeks between other games release dates, and I'm always curious to see how much better a game performs on PC than console. Also, depending on where you look, the PC version of this is dirt cheap, so a double dip didn't hurt that much. You can find the gold edition for $10-15 these days.

So I put this game away for over a year, but during quarantine times I decided to take another look at it. The Baranor DLC had opened up another region, so I battled through that and did some online vendettas, which I enjoy as a way to occupy 15-20 minutes before bed. I upgraded my gear and skills, then looked at the unbeatable overlord who had made me quit the game way back when, and he was now 30 levels below me. I sent in a spy and attacked again, and thought I might lose again til I used long-range headshots from the balcony to finish him off.
After that, some big missions opened up, and I ended up finishing the game at 98%. I just started the Baranor DLC, and while it’s interesting, it’s a bit of a bummer to be starting over with a low-level character, and I just got eaten by a sand worm and lost a lot of my stuff, so I’m not sure I’m going to stick with it.
I am wondering whether to try to pick off that final 2%, though.
