Thank you Adam Tyner, that seems to be the exact issue I'm having.. I had purchased digital on the ps4 but never installed on the 5. I'll try your solution.

Yeah itís not very intuitive but once you do the upload you wonít have to use the PS4 version any more. Certainly it could be simpler but this is literally the same system used to move over game progress in Spider-Man, Borderlands 3, Watch Dogs Legions, Sackboy Adventures, and I assume AC Valhalla. Nothing new here. And much better than Control or Maneater, which do not allow you to import your progress.

I disagree, based on my experience with Spider-Man (which didn't go out of its way to discourage me from launching the PS4 version to upload the save in the first place), but I don't think we're going to see eye to eye on this one.

It might also be worth noting how problematic some of these save upload features have been. The migration tab didn't show up at first for Avengers. Borderlands 3 was a mess. Crash Bandicoot 4 save conversions were broken for the better part of 4 days throughout much of the world.

At the end of the game and had just wrapped up the point of no return mission (which took about an hour) and the game errored out at the cutscene after the boss fight and upon starting the game back up I have to do that mission over again. The lack of in mission saving sucks especially with some of these longer missions. Sigh.

Finished up the main single player game today. Everything involving Kamala Khan is interesting but everything else in the plot/character interactions is mediocre. The missions are incredibly boring and repetitive and I can't imagine wanting to replay through these a bunch of times to level up your characters like they seem to want you too. Overall a pretty generic action game and I have no interest in jumping back in and doing endgame stuff or using DLC characters. Glad I waited to pick it up when it was under $20.

^ I just got it got good price too. Only played few minutes. As I mentioned, I don’t think I started correctly, but it was decent. Tony/Iron Man was pretty cool and easy to control when flying and stuff. It’s cool when they don’t make it so complicated with flight. Probably why we never got a proper Superman game, what, ever? No one seems to be able to grasp the flight controls of a single being. I’ll try and start again and correctly. But, I like being able to use powers. Just wish the actors could have gotten paid enough to give likenesses. I know they are the Creme de la Creme, but c’mon, be people, if they make a game about yous, let them use you for some voice acting and likeness. Get an extra mil or something. Give it to charity...

Could not agree with you more on all counts. I thought at the very least Iíd want to max out Captain America and Thorís skill trees after the campaign, but once I finished I couldnít imagine playing any more.

Re: Marvel's Avengers (9/4/2020: XB1, PC, PS4, Stadia)

This is a cry for help.
Spoiler:

I donít know why I canít put this game down. I finally bought Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 a few weeks ago but have barely touched it. Instead, I keep coming back to Avengers to do the same few repetitive tasks, over and over and over.

And Iím not done! I have every intention of replaying the campaign. 108 hours and still going...
